@rutty_bharucha Hi, Can you please give us a little information regarding the placements and ROI since all of us who have made it are kinda apprehensive about that bit. Thank you!
Hi!
We have Corporate Relations offices in India, UAE,Singapore, Sydney (Dec 2012) and Shangai, we are looking at the same list of Companies and Corporations as GMBA and few more to recruit our students. Lots of companies prefer freshers too for e.g. P&G; and HUL.
Aspirants joining MGB would start at 2 levels junior level (with work experience) and entrant/management trainees for freshers. Since our first batch for MGB has just started with the program we donot have any statistics to present but based on the success of the GMBA placements we are confident of successfully placing our MGB candidates as well.

Hi! we won;t be able to comment on your eligibilty based on just this information. You will need to apply to know your eligiblity. Your work experience seems fine but the admissiosn committee will need to decide if your GMAT score can be considered.

Thanks for your Reply!!!I have below few questions kindly help me on this. After rejecting from panel interview I am more curious to join GMBA Sep '13 intake.1)Can I apply for September '13 intake with same SPJAT score (10 Feb '13)? Also when will be the evaluations dates for Sep'13?2)Up to what time my SPJAT score (10 Feb '13) will be valid?3)How I could update my GMBA application profile that I submitted for May'13 intake or need to submit a new application?4)Is there any way to know about my panel interview feedback? Like the area where I need to improve myself?5)I am going to appear for TOEFL in next month, so will it be valid for GMBA Sep'13 intake for Australian VISA?6)Is this advisable to change my specialization from IBWM to ITM because I am from IT background and want to learn and explore about finance so I choose IBWM but my panel interview was like I am finance expert. Thanks,SumitApp no. 90415
Hi! Your SPJAT score of feb 2013 will remain valid for our Spetember 2013 and January 2014 intake . You will need to re-apply for the next intake. We certainly cannot give out the reason as to why you did not get through the Evaluation round. The Interviewers evaluate a student to try and understand his interest and knowledge of the specialisation he/she is opting for and also test the kind of exposure you have had. A decision is made only after thoroughly understanding the suitability of the candidate.
TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years.

@rutty_bharucha..Ma'am I have applied for the MGB program on 27th Feb(2774-IBWM) but still my application status is not yet updated.I do got a mail which states that I am falling short of one of the admission criteria which is the test score.I will be giving my SP JAT on 10th March.but what about my evaluation round? will it be on the same day?If not then what are the dates?

hey @rutty_bharucha

i have been selected for the GMBA-GLSCM for the may 2013 intake. can you please tell me how do i defer it to the next intake (aug 2013 or sept 2013)
@shixie Hi .You are required to drop a mail at [email protected].They would reply back for the necessary docs and conditions .Hope that answers your query 😃 .

Hey @rutty_bharucha,

Actually I am quite interested in doing my MBA in Supply Chain Management and I have some queries around this:
What are the prospects of Logistics and Supply chain Management specialization you offer in the MGB program?
What roles are offered for this specialization majorly?
How is the curriculum comparing to Global standards? Is there any diversity in case studies, I mean country specific supply chains, how is the focus on Indian supply Chains?

Sorry for being specific , but I am really inclined and want to know as much as I can? Also, if I fill before 20th March to apply for May batch, and suppose I get a call for admission after all the selection rounds, Can I postpone it to August batch? Because I want to take admission as early as possible but there is a possibility that I might have to postpone it because of some unavoidable issues if they happen in between..

Hi,

I am willing to do Family Business MBA from S P Jain, Mumbai.

Kindly shed some light on the same.

-Santosh

Hi Rutty ,

I had applied for may 2013 gmba batch but did not get a call and my status is waitlisted
Please let me know on what parameter i was rejected so that i can improve that aspect of my profile for the next september intake . I had an experience of 2 yrs and 10 months till april , if that is reason for rejection , i will be confident to make it for next cohort , but if any other reason is there , do let me know , so that i can work on that aspect as well .

My application ID is 90029-IT

Hi! S P Jain very selectively offers scholarships/loans at low interest rates to meritorious and needy students for which a separate application needs to be put in. Pl visit the following link to know more about the eligibility criteria and process to apply for scholarships.
http://www.spjain.org/gmba/scholarships.asp
Your eligibility will only be known once the scholarship committee screens your application. The scholarships are highly competitive and are solely based on merit
