Hello All , I am writing SPJAT on Feb 10th ( for GMBA) . I am familiar with the test Pattern since I wrote the SPJAT in November last year , but unfortunately I did not clear the cutoff .

Could someone one ,who has already cleared the SPJAT, shed some light on the accuracy part ?I am not that good with DI and would like to skip that in the exam would this be advisable ?
How many question approximately i need to get correct in order to clear the cutoffs . Appreciate any insight on this -

Also, I am writing GMAT on 5thMarch , Would I still be eligible for May Intake ?

Hello Rutty,

I would be interested in SP JAIN GMBA program .I am planning on writing GMAT on 15th of March . However , the official site has application deadline mentioned as 31st March , this leaves me with very little time to fill up the application and submit it across .
Do you suggest applying for MAY 2013 intake , or should I wait for the next intake ( i am hoping it is going to be AUG '13) ?

Please give some insight . Thank you in anticipation .

hi! You need to follow the registration procedure, it will guide you in making your payment and selecting the slot. The evaluation consists of an essay-case study round followed by a Panel and a Personal Interview. Topics are given on the spot.

hi! If you are taking the GMAT, then we need to have your scores by 31st march 2013, so if you are taking the test on 15th, you will have your unoffical scores with which you can apply. You can submit the official scorecard if you are shortlisted. Alternatively, you can also take the SPJain aptitude test. Our next intake is August 2013.

Sorry, the outcome of the evaluations on 27th jan are still being sent. You should hear by this week.

Hi,
I had applied for GMBA in dec2012 was planning to get into through CAT. But got very less marks in CAT. So i gave SPJAT on Jan 20,2013. In the result mail i got the reply that my results meet S P Jain €™s cut off limits. I recieved the result mai on 28 Jan, but i have not recieved any call letter till date.
Is is that they will take some more time or have i been rejected. Do they send any mail incase the candidate is not selected.
I have one more doubt that even before any results were declared i had submitted the GMBA application and the application was frozen so now i cannot update my SPJAT result in the GMBA application form. While applying for SPJAT i updated the GMBA Application No. on the registration page. So does it mean that my GMBA and SPJAT results have been linked or i need to somewhere separetly link the same. Also ,status is not updated on website.
Please reply guys if anyone has any idea.

I am a Marine Engineering graduate, i graduated in 2008 and have a CGPA of 9.03, i have 51 months of experience, and am presently sailing as a 2nd Assistant engineer. I am very much interested in the GMBA program and wish to pursue a MBA from your renowned institute. In this context i have already appeared for the SPJAT (conducted on 20th Jan 2013) and my result does meet the SP JAIN requirements. Now my problem is that I have an employment bond with my present employer, the bond will be terminating in September 2013 and hence i can only apply for the November'13 intake and not before that. My company plans on sending me back on board ship in march, now my concern is, that by the time i return from my ship i.e in October, most probably i will miss the November 2013 admission deadline, thus mam, i want to know whether there is any provision by which i can apply for the November 2013 intake now. I have gone through the entire SP JAIN GMBA website including the FAQ's but could not find one, i have also read your responses on PaGaLGuy.com (Ask SP Jain School), in some you have mentioned that it is possible for a selected candidate to deffer admission to the next intake. So Mam, i wish to seek your advice and suggestion on this issue. I am sincerely interested in this program and therefore request you to please provide some insight on this matter so that i can apply accordingly.

@rutty_bharucha - Finally got call letter for GMBA. But the interview is scheduled on 23 & 24 in Mumbai and it wont be possible for me to go for interview on those days. So is it possible to postpone the interview dates.

Hi, I have cleared the SP jat exam,

my acads were 75% - 80% consistent
Done B.com (accounting and Finance).
work exp-
1 yr retail store manager- sales- 2009-2010 ( lack of employment opportunities)
2 yrs KPMG Analyst in audit -- promotion inn terms of responsibity not on paper.
currently- 3 to 4 months working with a small consultancy.
Apply for MBA marketing, 2nd option consulting.

Is my work profile fine for SP jain?
And my specilization choice fine for my profile?

Pls help, very under confident.

Hi.. i have done my graduation ....and now i want to do my mba from sp jain dubai campus kindly guide me ... as i am not able to select the program out of the programs offered. I have no work experience and i want to do 2years full time mba course... plzz do help..just tell me the program for which i should aim for.

Is mgb equivalent to the mba degree....in india if i opt for a job in India.....i mean to say that is this the mba degree or not??? Will it b treated as masters in businees administration....?? Or i hv to opt for something else....as i have no work experience
