We donot guarantee a 100% placement. Basically the GMBA is only meant for candidates with a certain amount of work experience so in that aspect it is different from many of the other Indian MBA programs (since you had asked for the comparison in your earlier post) . So unlike the Management programs meant for beginners the placement options are more limited with an MBA program that takes in candidates with work experience, since the candidates here are looking to get into a certain level with the organization. Secondly, while applying for the GMBA program itself, candidates are asked to select whether they wish to avail our placement service at the end of the program or wish to apply under the Family business/ Entrepreneurship/ Sabbatical category, so only students who have opted for placements get the benefit of our placement services. Also, at the time of placements candidates do look out for options of their own or liaise with their previous organizations. As for the CGPA criteria, that is in place to ensure candidates maintain a certain standard and take the program and the placement process seriously.
Hello Sir/Ma'am, My question was pretty simple. Do you provide 100% placement or is it just that you "prefer" or "wish to". See, coming from a middle class family we would always want to explore the pros and cons of a b-school before investing the lump sum, no matter which big brand it has a tie-up with. To further my query, I would like to bring forth that I went through the website of yours thoroughly but certain questions are crippling in my head despite that. 1.What percentage/number of students(approx) normally land with "no job" after the completion of the course(of course with all due respect to your "preferences")? 2.What happens to those who do not manage to get the 2.75 aggregate point overall?Do you provide enough interview or placement opportunities for them as well? Anticipating a quick response. Thanks in advance !
Our final round of aptitude test cum evaluation is scheduled for 4th March 2012, so if your application is shortlisted you will hear from us before that date.
What is the last date final shortlisted candidates would be informed? thanks
The start dates for the GMBA April 2012 intake are as under- Dubai Saturday, April 14, 2012 Singapore Monday, April 16, 2012 The admissions for April 2012 were opened around the month of Nov 2011. We have had regular rounds of aptitude tests and evaluations for candidates who have applied earlier We have stated on our website that the admissions are on a rolling basis and recommend candidates to apply at the earliest. We have set 29th Feb as the last date to receive applications for april 2012 intake this is assuming that candidates who are applying late are well aware of the start dates and donot have any issues with the exit formalities. In any case, subject to approval by the Management, we also permit candidates to defer their offer to the next intake incase there are not able to make it on time for the current intake.
Hi,
Does the April'12 intake mean that classes will start from April 2012? The deadline for applying is 29 Feb but that doesn't give much time to apply for visa till April... Please clarify

Agreed! no offense to admissions team but applications are on waitlist for like 1-2 months either be rejected or accepted and applicant would never have problem even getting admitted late but admissions team should keep visa time and all other procedures in mind, how is it possible to arrange like 20lacs for normal person in span of one mnth if selected in march
I got an offer for ITM for APR 2012 Intake. Do we have a group on FB for the same. So that it will be easier for me to look for my fellow mates in ITM and also it would be an Informal ICE Breaker for Us
I got a offer letter from Sp Jain last week and have few queries as mentioned below.
After couple of weeks,i am shifting to India ,so Can I ask Admission department to change my current address to permanent address so that any documentation send by Sp Jain reach to my permanent address only.
Also i would appreciate,if you can tell me the specification of laptop that we will require in Sp jain.
Applicants who meet all our admission parameters have been called and interviewed and those with offers are now in the process of arranging their finances and Visa. Only those applications which are on the borderline or donot exactly meet all our entry parameters have been kept on a waitlist, they will be reviewed again before the last evaluation round.

If you are shifting your place of residence you need to immediately notify the admissions team on [email protected]. We would need your address of correspondece as we have to send the hardcopy of your offer letter, pre-departure information etc.
The laptop specifications are given in the pre-departure kit but if you need them earlier you will have to mail on the gmba id for this.

Hi Rutty, Thanks for your prompt and honest reply. Could you please tell me if I wish to join the November'12 intake(well by that time I will be having an exp of 3 years), when would the SPJAT for Nov'12 take place? Like many, I have exp in IT sector but wish to move to the Banking/Finance sector, so would I be measured on a common yardstick with the candidates who come from the BFS sector itself during the time of application/placement? Shall I be provided with placement assistance in that case?
I am Sajal , gt an admit to GLSCM april 2012 intake . Need to know about the deferal process . How easy is it and on what grounds do they entertain someone for that . Besides that , if in case of an accepted deferal , there is an initial seat booking amount of USD 5000 , is that to be still payed right away or can pay that later as well .
Admissions for November 2012 will open around the month of April 2012 post which the aptitude test dates for that intake will be announced at regular intervals on our website. We normally prefer having students with the relevant background for any of our specialisations. Having said this, we do consider cases where students wish to change their background for any particular reason but in this case we see the motivation behind their career change. You are welcome to apply for our specialisation in Finance but you will be asked the reason for this change and the Interviewers would also like to see your interest and knowledge of the subject.

Thanks again Rutty! Well my words may sound funny but could you please suggest me what could be the best answer for a question like "Engineering-->IT Sector-->Interest in pursuing MBA in Finance related specializations"?
Hi Rutty I have not recieved any email for ITM specialization for April'12 intake. So can I assume that I have not made it through or it's possible that I am in waitlist. Please advise.
