The results of the aptitude test held on 29th jan will be mailed to you within a weeks time. If you submit your application beforehand, the test scores will also be mapped to your application.
In order to expedite the process, we recommend students to apply for the program first and then take the aptitude test.

If I give exam on 29th Jan, when will I be getting the score....Is the score needed while submitting the application form... If not how will the linking between score and application happen??

S P Jain Center of Management is now registered as a higher education institution and all S P Jain programs are accredited by the Department of Education, New South Wales, Australia. The degree at the end of the program will be an Australian degree, awarded by S P Jain Center of Management, Australia stating Master of Business Administration (Global) (with the specialization mentioned).
The Australian degree would enhance the international acceptance of the degree, whether you wish to pursue higher studies or careers, globally.
Pls note here that where Institutes (like in India) have a requirement of 2 years Masters Degree to study for their PhD, the GMBA may not be accepted as this is a one year program but most of the institutions overseas accept a 1 year postgraduate qualification for their PhD

Seek yr clarification on the Diploma/Degree awarded by the institute n if it is a degree is it accepted globally for applying to doctorate programmes?

You can choose to send your GMAT scores to us via GMAC. Alternatively, if you are shortlisted you will be asked to carry your original GMAT score card for verification during evaluations.

The evaluation consists of an essay & a case study round. This is followed by an Interview with the Panel. We have an elimination after this and only shortlisted candidates go to the next round which is an interview with the President. Students who are made an offer post this, are informed within 2-3 days from the date of evaluation.
Evaluations in India, are only held in Mumbai.

I would like to know if there are any chances of me, getting selected in S P Jain GMBA prog. I'm an engineering Undergraduate from India with 69.56%.
Do not have a good score in GMAT or CAT, so preferred to go for SPJAT.
Current Work experience: 2 years and 6 Months. ( By April'12: work Experience will be 2 years and 8 months). Design engineer in an automotive MNC.
Decent Extra curricular activities in college and school.
Since my work experience is some 4 months less than requisite. Is this advisable to apply for Master of Global Business (MGB), a new course initiated by S P Jain Dubai & singapore campus.
Also, can anybody pls elaborate the test pattern. It's important for me because in next 10 days I'll be appearing for SPJAT.
Pls help me!!!

For GMBA we only accept students with a minimum of 3 years work experience. Exceptions to this will be made if the candidate has a good profile otherwise, such as exceptional academics , aptitude scores, achievements, performance at work etc. for which you need to send your application with all details to the Admissions Committee to be assessed
We are yet to start admissions for the Master of Global Business program.
The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

I was evaluated on this 15th and was interviewed by Mr. President who informed that the status would be intimated by Tuesday. The day has elapsed and no news has been received from the institute's end, neither has anything been updated on the site about the change in status. I got to know that few of the co-applicants have received the offer letter. Do I consider myself as a ding?? :-(
Are the students short listed even after the final interview?? I apologize for such an amateur questions but just needed your expert advice.

Master of Global Business ( MGB ) is a new program , we plan to open admissions for this program this year in 2012. The program is for a duration of sixteen months covering 3 cities across the globe- Dubai, Singapore and Australia and including four months of internship. It is meant for participants with 0-3 years of work experience. This masters course is intended to give graduates a global outlook, acquiring contemporary knowledge and skills in business disciplines, which have an international focus.
