We will be having one or two more rounds of the aptitude test for April 2012 intake. The test dates will be announced closer to the date of the test. Pls check for announcements regularly on our website to register for the test.
Payment for the test is to be made online using a credit card.
Hi,
Could you please tell me the date for next SPJAT? Whats the fees for SPJAT and what are the modes of payment.
Hey, quick question...I'm applying to the April '12 intake and see that the application form has a few 800 character limit questions. I'm wondering if these are to be answered essay style or can I input answers in bullet points/more to the point. For example, I can include a lot more professional achievements if I use bullets or just state the achievements without much details. With an essay style response, I'll have to cut down to maybe a couple achievements and add some explanation. I'm curious since essays will follow this initial application stage as it is, if shortlisted.
I submitted my application on 15th Dec (Late night) and I got the mail that says "Normally the process to short list takes from a week upto 30 days depending on how close your application is submitted to the upcoming evaluation date."
With SPJat done, SPJain would be shortlisting candidates from SPJat.... Since I did not give SPJat, would it be the case that I will be considered for evaluation in Jan and not for this first round? Normally, after SPJat, those who gave SPJat get to know after 3-4 days that they are being called for evaluation... So, should I expect the same or I will be considered in the Jan evaluations ? Also, is anything decided about the Dec. evaluations ? Anything about the date on which evaluation is gonna take place ?
Admissions are on a rolling basis. we have around 2-3 evaluation rounds for each intake. So the earlier you apply, the sooner you go through the evaluation round and complete the admission process.
Hi Guys,
Is it rolling admission? or the applications are collected till deadlines and then the decissions are made?
You can enter the details either in bullet points or as an essay, either way is fine.

To move to the evaluation round, your application should meet all parameters including the aptitude test scores.
So if you have a valid aptitude test score ie. either GMAT, CAT or SPJain aptitude test score and if your application meets all our other parameters as well, then you can be considered for the next evaluation round, else, it will only move up once you submit your aptitude test scores.

I submitted all the test scores and relevant information at the time of application... So, as per your reply, hoping for the Dec. evaluation call:)
I have submitted my application on 17th dec, but cannot view the status, when I login, I see just my completed application available for print. When can I see my application status. Also, is there any any tab for application status.
We do have a test center at Bangalore for the SPJAT but this is only for the first 2 tests of the intake. The 3rd test is generally conducted at Mumbai only.
Hi,
Whether SPJAT takes place in any of these places : Chennai or Bangalore
I submitted my application around 2 weeks ago. By when can I expect the evaluations to be complete and hear from SP Jain regarding the status of my application.
If your application does meet all our parameters you are then called for the evaluation. we normally have 2-3 evaluation rounds for each intake.
