Semeter 1 has a total of 23 credits.
Semester 2 has 14 credits plus 4 credits for the research.
So, 23+14+4 adds up to 41
Basically, thatElective Credits - Contemporary Marketing14
is actually a total of the 7 credits above.

1. Now, since SPJat is on 18th.. I think evaluation will take place close to 25th Dec.. I got to know that once the evaluation is done..candidate gets to know whether he is admitted/waitlisted/rejected in 2-3 days... So, lets say a candidate comes to know about the decision by 31st Dec...
Then how many weeks does a candidate gets to submit 2500$...
I also got to know that one has to pay next set of 2500$ in certain time period... I would like to know when one has to pay next set of 2500$ too...
2. If assuming the timeline (not dates) in the first point is approximately true, what would be the apprx. last date for submitting 2500$ for SPJAT taking place in January and February..
3. Has it been the case that candidates did not get the specialization of their choice coz de applied in the last intake (May be in Sept for Nov. intake or in Feb for Apr. intake) ?
4. Has it been the case that Marketing guys after doing the MBA were required to come and join Indian IT industry as a consultant or business analysts ?
I have got to know this has been the case... Many recruiters are from IT and Marketing people have joined profiles of consultant or business analysts when they were expecting profiles of business devp. manager or Marketing Manager..

The evaluation is generally held after the aptitude test date, however the date for the first evaluation for April 2012 is yet to be announced.
The outcome of the evaluation (offer, regret or waitlist) is communicated within 10 days from the date of evaluation. If you are made an offer, you are given a time frame within which you need to send in your acceptance and initial deposit of USD 2500 first and then payment of balance fees. These dates will be given to you in the offer letter
Iam not very clear with what you mean in point no. 3 .A student will be made an offer for a specialisation that he has selected and that is best suited to his career interests.
The same applies for placements as well. During the placement process, a candidate is expected to apply for a job profile that is suited to his/ her background only.

I want to know that time frame... I do not want the dates.. I just want the time frame... The time frame may not be fixed for every batch.. but what has been the trend over the last 3-4 intakes..
For 2nd question.. It is fine if you tell me the last dates of last year..
I know that in Jan 2011, SPJAT took place on 23rd Jan... So, for this batch.. what ws the apprx time frame given to pay the fees.... one or two weeks ?
After you appear for ur interview, u get the result in 3-4 days time.
You get a time of 10 days to pay the 2500 USD non-refundable amount to secure ur seat.
The rest of the money is most likely to be paid by March 15, 2012.

Yes, based on this we would recommend your to apply but since there are a lot of other parameters too that the admissions committee would need to look at, we cannot comment on your eligibility till we see your application.
