I have taken GMAT in august 2010 with a score of 760. Can I apply with this score?

The application form states the following for GMAT criteria - "GMAT score for tests undertaken in the year 2011 and upto March 10, 2012". I had taken my GMAT in April 2010. Can you please clarify whether it would be accepted, considering that it's just 1.5 years old? I had scored 720 and would not be able to take it again due to my workload.

We actually accept GMAT scores of the last 2 years. So for April 2012, we will be accepting GMAT scores of 2010, 2011 and upto March 10, 2012. There is an error in the website and we are getting this rectified .

Yes, your score is valid for April 2012 intake You can apply with this score. Admissions are now open.

My quries regarding april 2012 intake

1) Took CAT'11 ,results are not out ,how would i mention score ..can I
apply ?
2) Want to take SP jain test just incase my score is less in CAT'11, is it

I am currently applying for SPJain Gmba program , i got 690 in GMAT and have 4.5 years of WE.
My question is do we need to send official Gmat score from mba.com to SPJain or just mention in online application.

one more question is i wrote CAT - 2011 score are awaited ...can i mention it in application.

Pls find the answers to your queries in the same order-

  1. You can apply now stating that you have taken CAT'11, there is a provision for this in the application form. Later, when your results are declared, you may mail your score along with your application number so we can map your scores and process it further.
  2. Yes, you can take the SPJAT to improve your scores. If you are taking more than one test, we consider the best out of those scores.
  3. We are in the process of setting up a corporate relations office in Australia, with this, we should be able to network better with companies in Australia to help our students looking for placements there.
  4. Scholarships are highly competitive and are solely based on merit. Only a minuscule percentage of the earlier batch has been awarded this scholarship. The amount covers only a part of the tuition fee element out of your total fee structure.

Hi!

There is an option to select SPJain to send your GMAT scores directly to us but if you have not opted for this, its fine, you may enter your GMAT date, id and score on the application form . If shortlisted, you will be asked to get your original GMAT scorecard for verification.

For CAT'11, there is a provision in the form to just mention that you have taken the test. You can mail us the scores later.

Thanks Rutty for such a quick reply.

I have a small question to ask.

What to write in Percentile section of CAT , I filed date and registration ID.
Form does not let me save Percentile field with blank, Form need numerical number in Percentile field.
IF i mention CAT -11 ( with awaited score) will Adcom short list me based on GMAT score , 690, and profile or will they wait till CAT-11 result are out ?

what is probable date of getting call for round 2 if short listed, considering I apply in day or two.

Since, you have a valid GMAT score, we will proceed to screen your application on that basis. The first evaluation round may be held sometime around Dec 2011 or early Jan 2012 .

You can give all the details in the relevant section eg. if you have got to handle a new project at work, you can mention that in the section provided to give your work exp. details and all this can even be summarised in the section provided for additional information.

Do we have SPJAT Before Dec 28th 2011 ? If yes then what would be its approx date
Please let me konw about this as i do have some commitments

1)Application asks about "additional relevant professional courses" like CCNA etc , I have done multiple technical and functional certifications ,how do I mention all

i have taken CAT 2011 ,so ticked the relevant section ,now its not letting me save the form ,getting a prompt saying fill the CAT score ...
but results are still awaited
