I plan to take up SPJAT next month . Will I be able to apply for april 2010 with that score ? I m confused because the SPJAIN website says that would consider SPJAT attempted in 2009 . Please clarify

You may apply tothe program in that case. We look at the overall profile of the candidate and there is no specific weightage for every criteria

I have seen SPJain has IT management which suits my profile.I wanted to do specilaization in Strategy Management .Do any of the campuses has this as one of the specialization.I could not find it on website.
I knw this question has been asked by many , but could you please tell us more @ SPJAT Exam ,what is the cutoff percentile to get a interview call.
also what is % of students who are taken based on their SPJAT Score.

Hi Shweta,
I am a software professional working in India with almost 4 years of experience (completing 4 years in a month).
I have a GMAT score of 710 and the other test scores in the range as mentioned in the signature.
X-71.2%, XII 83.3% and Engineering 58.5%(This being the only blot on my resume despite being from the top college in India.) Extra curriculars have been mostly in Sports and Organizing events rather than participations. Hobbies include playing soccer, TT, Speed Cubing(Rubik's Cube), Puzzles, etc.
Now I have these queries:
1) How fit is my profile for an admit into the GMBA program?
2) The fees page on the website mentions that the student should also pay for the visa cancellation on completion of the course. Does that mean that we have to return to where we have come from? No placements in Dubai or in the surrounding states?
3) In case there are placements, How is the placement scene going to be this time around with the Recession coupled with the "Dubai Debt" thing that has been doing rounds in the international market?
4) Could you please throw some more light on the faculty and pedagogy in the campus?
5) Lastly, I was to visit the Dubai campus last week but heard that its been shifted recently. Is it true?

Hi....i have registered for the SPJAT 16th Jan. But havn't applied for the institute till now as i plan to do that after getting the SPJAT score only. Do you think it's ging to hamper my chances of getting shortlisted for the further round for the April 10 intake.

1) Placement profile .(profile offered to students after GMBA)
2)Average package offered ,specialization wise .(or even everything together)
3)geographically wise placement split up .
Other info i would like to seek :
is the toronto trip/other tour integrated part of this program .is this self financed by students ?
would be great if you can help me with these question .

I posted my spjat venue selection failure problem to [email protected] id 1 week ago as told by you earlier but havent got any reply yet , the 16 jan date is approaching near by and already the amount of 40usd is deducted from my account ..
The problem was i got the pin number after paying fee thru credit card but when i selected the venue and pressed submit ,it gave me the foll error..

I'm planning to apply SP Jain Singapore/Dubai for April 2010 intake. My details are mentioned below:
1. Till 31/03/2010 , I'll complete my 5 years in IT.
2. Currently working for Infosys Technologies Ltd.
3. Currently i'm playing Team Lead kind of role.
4. International Exposure of 3 Months in UK
5 GMAT Score: 640
6. Completed BE fron NIT, Dgp
7. I was the Executive Member of one of the students chapter in College.
8. Little bit of Social Work
I know GMAT score is not so great .. but I heard that now a days People are not scoring high in GMAT if this the case then how eligible I'm for the program.

Even if you get a job in DUbai ( nearly 30% of our batch gets placed in Dubai) you will need a work visa nad your student visa will have to be cancelled for which you will have to pay the cancellation fee.
3) In case there are placements, How is the placement scene going to be this time around with the Recession coupled with the "Dubai Debt" thing that has been doing rounds in the international market? Placements have been pretty good for our batch which graduated in Dec 09 - only 8% of the batch remains to be placed

5) Lastly, I was to visit the Dubai campus last week but heard that its been shifted recently. Is it true? We have moved from Knowledge village to Dubai International Academic City since the last 3 years so I do not know from where you have got this information

Your GMAT score is below our cut off of 650 and your CAT results might be out too late. The CAT cut off is 80%ile. You may take the test if you wish

Hi,
Your GMAT scorei s fine as it is only marginally lower than our cut off of 650 and since you have a good amount of work ex the Admissions Committee may be willing to overlook this minor shortfall
