Hi Shweta,
I had applied for SPJAIN with a score of 640 in GMAT...I have 3.5 years of experience in a very reputed Indian IT firm..I have decent acads and lots of extra curricular activities to my credit...I had applied with my CAT score of 80.4 percentile in April 09 and had got a call for the evals... This time however even after having 6 months additional exp and some more extra curricular activities I have been waitlisted in the Initial screening....Is it because of my score or due to some other reasons....Here is my April 09 appln no. 29669 PMM....I would be grateful if you could provide me with some feedback so that I can work on the area where I lack.....

Hi,

Since you have already been through the evals in the last intake - the Admissions Committee is probably taking longer to evaluate your application inorder to assess what has changed significantly in your profile overthe last 6 months

I am 2009 international applicant (based out in USA) and advised to give aptitude test online as part of evaluation process.
What is online aptitude test format. Is some thing I have to log in to some portal online and give it there? What is the time limit.
What is the online format and can I switch between question online just like a paper based exam?

THe test is multiple choice questions with negative marking - the link to take the test will be sent to you.

When can we expect the placement statistics for the may batch to be updated in detail as it were for the previous batches ? true that the placements have been going on despite recession but atleast a batch wise break up would be helpful

currently working as Project Lead
- have an experience of TQM (quality audits, QM reports, Sr. management review reports and quality activities at project level e.g. DP, QM, PP, PSSP, capacity data etc)
- worked in USA at client location for 2 years - new critical project worth approx. 2,24,000 US dollars
- working as Solution SPOC - manging deals, estimation, staffing, costing methodologies. Pipeline revenue reports that helps senior management takes strategic decisions.
- worked on various vertical level client proposals, RFIs for new customers, conduction training workshops for client associates and other senior members across organization
- involved in recruitment interviews and company hiring decisions. Personally took more than 25 interviews till now.
- awarded value and best employee awards. consistent excellent rating and promotions for all 5 years
- Extra cu-activities - been active in company social welfare program (center coordinator and devised critical approaches. Helped other NGO organization in home town in raising funds for old widows.. mini-marathon in 2006; adventure sports; trained rock climbing and sky diving training is going to start in coming January)

please let me know what are my chances.. I am giving gmat again in next month to improve my score but deadline of SPJain is in this month so have to apply with this score only..
