I had my evaluations on 1st September. I was offered a seat under non-placement category at that time and i was put under waiting for placement category. After that i have not received any update. Can u please update about my application.
Thanks and Regards, Rahul Jain Application no. 26345
Please confirm for mine application too 25576-IT. I appread on 12th October. I have been waiting too anxiously. Online status is same as after evaluation call.
I failed to impress the PI panel on oct 12, as i come from research background and did not know the exact explanation for various supply chain terms, although i really appreciate its value in any organisation or even daily life, and i felt, if given a chance i can do a good job in that field... nonetheless, i also, find spjain a superb boost to one's career, (its strategic locations itself testifies how superbly the whole mba is designed!) a fact that many admitted students also do not appreciate ( as understood from their posts) and hence, i am keen on applying once again for same specialisation, but on speaking to admission counsellor in ILO, i learnt that if i apply for same spec, my chances of being called for evals reduce.. kindly confirm this.
Madam, i wish to state that I found PI very demanding, (this cud be due to high competition) so does that mean that spjain doesnot help those who look for switching their careers? i earnestly wish to work as scm expert, kindly guide me as to how feasible is it to get another chance of proving my candidature, thanks and regards neha

Well we have had a lot of candidates who have been offered spez which are different from their work ex/academic backgrounds.
We have now closed admissions for the Dec 08 intake. Hence if you wish to be reconsidered then you may reapply for the April 09 intake. You are free to reapply esp if you fell that there has been a substantial change in your application.
THanks Shweta

Hi,
Yes, you should know your final status within this week.
Mine only concern is when we did not meet minimum percentile requirement then why we were called for interview and as in earlier query posted by young lady neha that even she was not asked question in interview round so all round of 11th & 12th were just meant to be conducted as to be conducted - - - - - or for what reason """" as i was the candidate who reached to dean and i asked before going interview that mine written score is not good so why i called up;;;;;; i was prettty sure i wont be admitted ,it seems you called candidates only for cushioning your buffer so that you should not have positon of vacant seats. . as many students are differing their dec intake please in next eval round dont call those candidate who does not meet your mentoned crtiriea it gives them a feeling of foolness.
Well I would like to clarify that we did not call candidates on the 11/12 Oct 08 for the sake of as mentioned by you. We are not interested in wasting students time as well as ours. We do not have any fixed no of seats that we merely have to fill - we are more interested in finding the right candidates who meet our unique requirements. Pls understand that it was not your score due to which you have not been offered admission - the score plays a more important part when we are calling you for the evaluations - while you are being evaluated there are other factors that are looked at more closely rather than your score - broadly these criteria are communications, personality, smartness, domain knowledge, skills etc. You may have fallen short on some of these criteria and hence were not selected.
We have offered students places on ALL of our streams during the evaluations held on 11/12 Oct 08 for the Dec 08 intake.
i hope I have clarified your doubts.
Thanks Shweta
Thanks shweta for replying

I wish to pursue GMBA from SP Jain, Dubai. My academic background involves B.Com (P) from Delhi Univerisity through Correspondence with scoring 50% in my final year of B.COM. I am having 1 yr Work ex in Delhi and 2 yrs in Dubai. My main question is as i did my graduation while working and also through Correspondence, will it reduce my chances of getting into SP Jain or do i have any chances of getting into SP Jain? I have a credible work experience in the field of Marketing and can also provide references. Kindly advice what would be the correct procedure.
We would consider work ex as full time only post your graduation. I would suggest that you go ahead and send in your application and only then would the Admissions Committee be in a position to take a decision on your application after considering your profile as a whole.
Thanks Shweta
