Hi Madam,
I have got call for second round of evaluation which is going to be held on 28th sep . I. My question is

1)do we have last round of 2nd stage eval process in oct .
2)willl it be disadvantage to appear in oct eval process as compared to 28th sept eval process.
please guide.

Hi Madam,

Considering the fact that the application is a rolling process and that the deadline is oct 06 2008 for dec intake, please advice me whether i should apply now or apply early in jan for may 09 intake...Also due to personal reasons, i would not be able to join for dec intake...so if admitted i would anyways have to defer..

I am a BITS Pilani graduate with 3.5 years of experience in automotive industry.My GMAT score is 680(Q48 V34 AWA 5.0)

I would be applying for Product/Service marketing management spec

It would be really helpful if you could share some pros and cons.

Hi,

Yes the next round is on 27/28 Sept 08 but there will most lileky also be another round sometime in oct - hence I suggest that you pls be a little patient and wait until next week to know your status.

Yes if a student is not selected in one intake he/she may reapply for the next intake as well as retake the aptitude test

Hi,

I have submitted my application for the Dec intake on Sept 19th and got the acknowledment as well. Now I read that the next round of selection is on Sept 28th. I have not received any notification thru mail. Then should I assume that I have not been selected? I have also mailed [email protected] reg this.
Pls let me know whether this implies a rejection and ease my tension.
Also reg the next intake in May, could I apply again and give the SPJAT again as well?

Hi,

1) yes, we most likely will have another round of evaluations in OCt
2) No, there will be no disadvantage from our side if you appear in the Oct evals.

Hi,

If you are sure that you would not be able to join the prog in Dec 08 if selected - then i suggest it's best for you to apply when we start accepting applications for the MAy 09 intake

I have sent a mail to [email protected] raising the issue of mentioning wrong Appplication ID by mistake :banghead: while sending the demand draft for the second round of evaluation to be held on 27th/28th Sep 08' .... though it would have reached to the office earlier than 22nd Sep 08' but still i would like to know whether i would be allowed to go through the evaluation process 😞 .. i have booked a slot for 28th Sep 08'..
Please look into the matter at the earliestas i have planned to start for Mumbai tommorow itself.

My Correct Application ID is 26729 IT.

Hi,

Have you received an acknowledgment email form us for receipt of your DD?

If yes, then you needn't worry but if you haven't recd the email then i think its best you call the India Liaison Office on 022-32906596/97 and check if they have recd your payment

Most likely yes , we would have a round of evaluations in Oct but I cannot commit to it as it depends on the Admissions Committee.

We do not give out the specific criteria as to why you are waitlisted. It may not be your score which is valid but could be some other factor that you are falling short on that has kept you on the waitlist

Dear Shweta,

I have the same status message too on my application login, so I guess the query's answered. But i really feel, if you could try and add a line on whats missin in the application, that would be great. I certainly understand with so many applications pouring in, its not such an easy task, but just a suggestion.. helps to work on our application in the future too!

I had applied for the last batch(June'0 and was called for an interview.Although got waitlisted post interview.I dont think there shud be any reason why i am not being called for an interview this time as well.

Once an evaluation date is firmed up by us, you would be getting a call for evaluation e-mail giving full details of when your evaluation has been scheduled for."

But as I see through this thread, tentative date for the last evaluation round is 7th - 8th of Oct. So, I am not sure, whether I wiil get this chance for next round evaluation process or not.

Please let me know ASAP.

Hi Shweta,Will the SMM batch for May'09 intake start in Singapore and end in Dubai?Does the postings after placement depends on where you are finishing the course i.e. more regional companies coming in for that campus.

We are not asking for CAT 08 scores as the score for this would be out only in Jan 09. CAT scores of 2006 and 2007 are accepted by us.

Your not having a score maybe one of the reasons for your being on the waitlist.
