Hi,

Yes, we do conduct our own aptitude test.
Details regarding the contents can be found under the FAQ's section of our website. As of now the last test has already been conducted for the Dec 08 intake on 17th Aug 08. We have not yet fixed the dates for the test for the May 09 intake

The waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions Committee. However there is no fixed time frame as to when this happens - the max that you would have to wait would probably be until a little after we close for admissions - say 3rd week Oct 08

I Subrat Nanda (appl no-26053) have got an offer for WM specialisation for Dec 08 intake.

I have a problem and seek your advise on this.

I am facing lots of difficulties for loan sanction of around 17-18 lacs (approx. as USD is now 45) because we don't have any immovable property for keeping as a collateral which Bank's require beyond 7.5 lacs loan. Also my father is not in a position to fund the fees partly now.

So i am looking for an option to defer this admission offer to next session, so that i will get nearly 4-5 months to arrange for requisite education fees.

I will be sending the initial $2500 payment today to India Liaison Office towards acceptance of Offer.

Please suggest about the deferment of Admission Offer to next session, if it can be possible taking into account of my current situation.

As of now we do not have any of the accreditations as mentioned by you i.e. AMBA, EQUIS or AACSB.

Yes, plans to obtain such global accreditations are very much in the pipeline

Hi,

I have submitted online application for the SP Jain GMBA - Dec intake on 8th September 2008. However, I am taking my GMAT on 23rd Sept 2008. In the form, I have stated "Appearing" in the GMAT column.

Now the mail confirming my registration details says
" Our admission's committee will short list applications based on several criteria including your past academic performance, work experience, aptitude test scores and other information provided to us. "

1. Does that mean that i was not eligible to apply?
2. Will my application be rejected?
3. What are the steps I need to follow now if I am still eligible?
4. Further, I realize that many students have already received calls and several are already wait listed. Does that mean it is too late to apply now? 5. Will SP Jain consider fresh applicants till the last date?

Please Help.

Hi,

Don't you think the placement info on the website is messed up and misleading?

I feel that the Indian and International Placement figures should be mentioned separately as most institutes do. Combining the Indian and International Placements does not give the real picture.

If possible, could you please provide the details about the Average Indian Salary and Highest Indian Salary. Also, information about the Minimum/Lowest Salary Offered should be provided as many applicants are concerned about ROI especially for this course.

If i prepare for CAT will i be also be able to get good score in GMAT, because i want to do MBA it doesnt matter from which part of world.

Hi,

1. No, you can apply without a score
2. If you are meeting all other criteria and are only lacking a score then you would be waitlisted until we receive a score. However if you are not meeting any of our other criteria then maybe the Admissions Committee could feel that you are not meeting our requirements in any case and could reject you
3. you will have to await your status and send us your GMAT score immediately once you take the test by sending an email to [email protected]

The avg salary is about the same whether placed in India or Dubai or Singapore.
