I had given the SP Jain Evaluation(GD/PI) on 31st August in the 10:30 am slot and also had completed all the interviews including the dean interview. My application number is 25601-IT. I have not received any updates on my evaluation although others have been constantly receiving teh same. The website too has not been update.

Kindly provide some information regarding my candidature or any updates for the website.

1) We haven't yet fixed the dates for the next round of evaluations
2) If we had filled the seats then we wouldnt conduct any more rounds of evaluations
3) Your application status should have been updated by now

I have a few Questions...

1) Can you please let us know when we can expect the next round of Evaluations?

2) Since the admissions are on Rolling basis, what are the chances of getting a offer in the next round... I am afraid that most of the seats are filled by now.

3) When will the Application status be updated for next evaluation?

I have submitted my application nearly 20 days back. As of now the status is yet to get updated. Hoping for the status to get updated soon.

Hi,

Well in certain cases we do conduct telephonic interviews in cases where the candidate resides abroad ( out of India/Dubai/Singapore) - but this is at the discretion of the Admissions Committee

As for your sandwich course - you can continue the 5th year in the Postgrad section but for your degree mention it as bachelors and not masters - this should be fine . you may also write an email to [email protected] explaining the same and we will append a copy of that email to your application for reference

Hi,

I am planning to apply for GMBA - IT specialization / 2nd preference of HRM. I have taken my GMAT (660).

Acads:
Good score in 10th
12th (2nd rank in school)
9.22/10 B.E. EEE (5 years sandwich course)
(How do i specify my individual years score in the application? The forms have only 4 years entry pattern)

Work ex: 4+ yrs, currently in USA (past 1.5 years). The admissions require a personal appearance in any one of the centers, but i will not be able to make it to India or other centers. I will be in India for vacation during the period from Dec 1st to Dec 20th. I will not be able to make it to the next round also (as will not be able to plan another vacation in such a short period and i cannot avoid this vacation).
Are there any alternatives?

We have updated the details given by you on your application. As for your GMAT score - it would not be necessary as you already have a high apt score.

Hi Rutty/Shweta,

I had some technical issues while filling the details in the 'Academic Details>Educational Qualifications' section in the application form.

Regardless, I managed to send the application.

My application no. is 26675-GLM.

I had sent the details in question again by email to [email protected] a few hours later (29th Aug around midnight) just in case, elaborating on the technical issue.

Could you please clarify if the application is properly received, and if not, whether the said details have been added from the email sent on the same date as the application.

On another note, I did not intend to give the GMAT as reflected in my application, since my SPJAT score was good.

But later I decided to give it and I got a score of 650, which is the required cut-off. So would reporting/adding the GMAT score to the application be helpful or would it detract from my chances of getting an evaluation offer, since its not exceptional?

In case I do choose to report the score, do I need to email [email protected], and tell them to update it, or is letting you know sufficient, in which case I have inadvertently reported it! :laugh:

Yes, most offers have been sent out for those evaluated during the first round of evaluations held between 29 Aug and 1st Sep

I do not have the information of how many students were offered for GLM or any other spec.

You can pay the fess in installments as long as you complete the full fee payment by 21st Oct 08. After that there is no installment facility available
