I have submitted the online form on 14th June'08 (and have received the confirmation mail). My question is: When can I expect to hear on My status. I do understand that it may take 30-45 days from the date of registration. But may I know the exact date/week, if possible.
Also, as per the form, it accepts the last year's CAT scores (Nov 2006) as well. Please advise if the same is correct.

Dear Ma'am,
I have 3 years and 7 months of work-ex in IT and Supply Chain Domain till February 2008. I left my job in March to prepare for GMAT/CAT.
Will my break in work go against me in the GMBA selection process?
Though now I do part-time freelance consulting and professional blogging as I have this big aim to start my own small consultancy some day, will this experience count?

2. What is the avg package and oppurtunity of getting placed in India after doing MBA in global logistics and supply chain mgmt.
3. Do you accept Gmat score online through GMAC office directly or do we have to provide hardcopy for that proof.
Please provide me information about the above stated queries. As i am plannig to apply for Dec 2008 batch for sp jain singapore.

thanks for the quick reply ..Actually i have not given Gmat yet and i am planning to give by mid of sept this yr ..
1. Will that be very late to appear for dec batch 2008 ?
2. Also In GMAC they do provide specific codes for institutes which have registered them under that , so do i need to give scaaned copy of my score at the mail id mentioned by you or GMAC mail will do ?
3. As i am giving GMAt in sept should i fill admission form now or later after having scores in hand.

Though I have mentioned in the form that I wish to take the SPJAT (as I only wanted to better my score), I am uncertain about it.
Will my candidature be on hold till the time I take SPJAT again or will it be processed even if I donot attempt the test?
After a candidate clears the cut-off, how much of an importance/a weightage does a high %ile carry?

1. Mid of Sept should be alright as the last date for applications is Oct 6th.
2. We do not have a GMAC code hence I mentioned earlier that you will have to send the email to [email protected]
3. You may fill the form now or later - however we will not shortlist candidates who do not have a score

Hi,
We will process your application as both your scores meet our requirements. hence you need not take the test again
Well your score is important to the Admissions Commitee while reviewing your profile as a whole. But it is just one aspect of your profile and you have to be meeting our requirements in other areas as well. Merely having a high score does not necessarily mean that you would be shortlisted.

Yes the day you receive your unofficial score - pls send an email mentioning the same alongwith your application no ( if you have applied before taking the GMAT) to [email protected]
the score sheet need not be sent at that point in time. You would be required to submit the score sheet at a later date if shortlisted

I need some advice regarding the admission to GMBA Dec 08 intake.
My profile:
Xth: 85%
XII: 70%
B.Tech: CGPA 7.26/10
Institute: NIT (REC) Jaipur (2006)
Branch: Metallurgy and Material Science engg.
Work ex: 24 months (by june 08 end) with satyam computers as S/W engg working in Manufacturing n supply chain domain.
An average extra currics but having good performance in Job (topper of training batch), appreciations from higher management in project, student council representative in Xth and XIIth and recieved appriciation certificate during my summers project.
I want to get into Operations/Supply chain domain.
I have not written CAT/GMAT till now but planning for SPJAT for 2008 Dec intake in GLSCM.
Do i have a chance here? Any suggestions?i missed this SPJAT today due some issue at office. when will it be conducted again for the Dec 08 intake?
