If u go through some of the previous posts u will know that its not necessary that u put in both Percentage and GPA. If ur university doesnt use a grading system then its ok to put in percentage only. (I had the same problem when i was filling my form.. )

1st Yr: 56.07 % 2nd Yr : 55.87% 3rd Yr : 65.10% 4th Yr : 71.86%
Work Ex :
I have 2 years of Work Ex in Infosys as Software Engineer.
Is there any criteria that one should have above 60% in all years of graduation beacuse mine is less than that?? Should I apply for SPJAT Aptitude test than?
My UG (BE) was a five year integrated course. The Academic details section has the provision to enter only upto 4 years' marks. Hence, i ve given my 2nd to 5th year details.
Kindly let me know whether this should suffice or do i need to intimate the admission committee regarding the same.
hi, i'm right now preparing for my gmat and also giving this sp jain aptitute test.if anyone had given this exam or have ideas ,just throw me some hint regarding the differences between them, apart from G.K.shall i need to see some more with maths or verbal.
You may send in your application inspite of not having a first class in your 1st and 2nd yr of engg. Yes we normally do expect students to havea first class in their academics but if the Admissions COmmitee feels out are outstanding in otehr areas they may be willing to overlook the fact that you have less than 60% in your 1st and 2 nd year of engg
You would need to submit a score to us in any case as the Admissions Commitee will not shortlist a candidate who does not have a score
Thanks Shweta

But i have 3 years gap between my 12th and BE. Does it affect me in selection ? I was physically not well for 2 years. Then i Started coaching for IIT and got selected in state engg in 2000.
While we do expect students to have a first class in their academics, I cannot comment on whether you would be selected or not as that decision lies with the Admissions Commitee.
All i can suggest is that you may send in your application
If you happen to be selected for the programme then your not having a first class in graduation would not be a hindrance during placements as recruiters place more emphasis on your past experience , domain expertise and knowledge gained from the MBA programme.

Hi,
I am thinking about applying to SPJAIN Singapore program.
My Engineering Aggregate is 57% in Computer Science. and i have a work Experience of 8 months in S/W industry (10 std - 92% and 12th - 76%)
Would my Engineering marks be an hinderance in procuring admission and thereafter in placements. please Advice.
Well we will consider the fact that you have achieved a high SPJAT score. However merely having a high entrance test score does not necessarily guarantee that you would be shortlisted for the Evaluations
The Admissions Commitee will look at your profile as a whole and take a decision whether to shortlist you or not
Thanks Shweta
Hi Shweta Ma'am,
Actually i dont want to leave any stone unturned for this Dec 08 intake that is why I am writing SPJAT inspite of having CAT 89.31%ile. I had applied for May 08 intake earlier with the same CAT percentile but could not manage a call. This time i want to put in all kind of efforts from my side.
I have a query - will having a high SPJAT score add to my profile or is it just a qualifying criteria?

I've applied for the GMBA program on the 10th of June. I want to know in case my application is not selected then will i be sent a regret letter or something like that?
Your status will be updated on our website - it could resutl in 3 possibilities - Shortlist for the Evaluations or Waitlist or Regret
We do not send out individual letters of regret
Thanks Shweta

Hi Rutty, Could you please tell me the last date of application in SP Jain Management, Dubai. Also could you please elaborate on the admission process?
I just wanted to know, now that the GMBA is conducted in two countries - sigapore and dubai, when we complete this program is the certification attestable by the governments of dubai and singapore?
My point of asking this is to know that tomorrow if we want to work in any other country besides dubai, singapore or india, will this program be recognised and valid (which I belive cannot be so if it is not attested by the govt of the country in which the program is done).

I quote from what has been mentioned on our website:
At the end of the program graduating students will get a certificate from S P Jain - Dubai/Singapore stating Global Masters in Business Administration (with the specialization mentioned) and another joint certificate from SPJIMR, Mumbai and S P Jain - Dubai/Singapore reading Post Graduate Program in Management (with the specialization mentioned - we will not mention the super-specialization). The above may change if we are required to do so to meet with legal requirements in India, UAE and Singapore. However, at the current moment we do not foresee this as likely.
I would also like to bring to your attention that several of our students have also got offers from companies based out of countries other than Dubai, Singapore or India.
Thanks Shweta
