Thanks Shweta
Hi Rutty,
I am not very sure if you would remember my post here regarding my 2008 june intake. Would like to inform you that I have taken the SPJAT twice and I was called to Mumbai to take the test. However I couldnt get thru this time. May I request you to let me know when do I start for the Jan intake 09. I am really serious this time and have to join the college.
Hi, This is Ravi here. I have 91.33 percentile in CAT'06. I didn't receive the CAT scorecard but i have the printout of the same. will it be considered? Also If i apply for the DEC08 batch now and submit the CAT score and still want to give SPJAT then will my admission be processed after the SPJAT or it will be processed based on the CAT score. Also whats the weightage of the test marks in the overall admission process..? just want a rough idea based on your experiences.. Thanks.
hey Can you tell me the last date till when we can apply for dec2008 batch?? I know its very late now , but if we give GMAT now can we apply for dec batch this year.. Thanks ninna
Dear Rutty,
I received call from Singapore this year, for december intake. But was bit confuse regarding placement in india.
after recuritment,i heard from students its difficult to get to india with gud salary, for ROI u have to be in dubai........n dubai is kind of place, you dont tend to live for longtime.
Also sp is first time conducting dec intake, dont u thk main requirments of company occurs from feb to june..........how will placements for dec intake go!!!!!!!!!
In my opinion you need not take the SPJAT as your CAT score meets our cut off. You may apply using your CAT score and inspite of that post screening your appln if the Admissions Commitee feels that you still need to take the SPJAT then we will intimate you accordingly.
There is no bifurcation of the amount of weightage given to any one criteria. A candidates profile is looked at holistically
Thanks SHweta

i m BE-Metallurgy, currently working in a multi-national consulting engineering company...having wrk exp of abt 3.5 yrs..associated with mainly project monitoring/management...
Is GMBA suitable for me?.. If yes..den wch stream sud i go for..??
Also, let me knw the fees..so dat i can start accumulating..as i read frm d thread dat many of u r defering ur admission due to loan problem...
We do not specifically tell students what stream they should opt for as that should be done out of your own interests and future career palns - however going by your profile you could consider applying forthe GLM spec

1) The work experience has to be in a MNC or a listed company or any work experience would count? I worked for my family firm for 5 months before joining IBM India. Should i mention that work ex in the application?
2) How many candidates are normally shortlisted for the evaluation process? Just wanted to know so that i can get an idea of the conversion rate.
3) Our University didn't give the GPA but in the form GPA is mandatory. Is there any rule for how to convert the marks in GPA.
Hi, 1) Yes you must mention whatever work experience you have even if it was working in your own co. We are not looking at your work ex only in top cos but at ALL the work ex you have gained over the years 2) There is no fixed amount - we will shortlist a candidate if they are of good quality and are meeting our requirements. 3) if you school/college have a marking system and not a gpa system then it is fine - you need not mention the GPA. Just the marks are fine
Thanks Shweta

Is it necessary to select 2nd choice of Super Specialisation? I am only interested in applying for HR and the remaining courses are not even remotely related to it. What can be done to skip the 2nd choice for specialisation?
Hi, You need not select the 2nd preference if you dont have any - just leave it blank
THanks Shweta

In the Academic Details Tab, when i try to "Save" after providing all the rquired details, an error "Please Enter CAT details" is thrown. Even after providing the mentioned detail, its still throwing the same error.
Please let me know whether this is a problem existing for all users, or am i giving any detail wrong?
