I plan to appear for the GMAT in the month of May, 2013. I have 2 years of experience in an IT industry. Would it be advisable to do an MBA from the SMU?

Hi all I am new to this thread. I want to apply to SMU for MBA 2014 class. Seeing my profile- 690/3.5 yrs exp/ civil engineer- operations best suits me. But I am unable to find the list and details of electives SMU offers in operations. I want to get an insight for operations field in Singapore and how is the overall program in SMU. Meanwhile I have got admit from Katz, Pittsburgh but have not taken a decision yet because of strict visa rules in US. If anybody can state along with the query the work permit rules in Singapore post MBA the info will be helpful for me. Thanks in advance.

How do you help students in their job search, esp.jobs in VC or IB, where prior experience is preferred. Also, with a 1 year program...there won't be any internships.
4 years work ex marketing hotels, 1 year as volunteer in ngo.
bachelor in english-Delhi Univ
goals-marketing in consumer goods/services
@winds81 My honest opinion - your both gmat and work ex are on the lower side of the class average so it may be a little difficult now but then it also depends on your application and interview etc. There is no harm in trying I ll say
