No no, calculated a bit.

If rent is r, then 12 r * 7 / 8 = 10550 + 328 = 10828. So r = 10828 x 2/21 = 1036.

N is number of stairs na? but if he's going along the escalator (same direction) he'll have to climb less steps , right? and if he goes against it, he'll climb more.in ur equation the more stairs or less stairs is missing. it's stable as N.
thats because the speed is increasing or decreasing.. thats upto you either you vary the distance or you vary the speed depends on your way of solving.. basically time changes so ya toh numerator increase/decrease kar lo ya toh denominator :)

There was a sum in elitmus exam .......... 1024*3672 + 4152*5623 + 6413*5241 .......... this multiplication is in octal form (i.e base 8) ......... The question was ....... How many digit 6 are there in the above multiplication !! ........ Please help me about how to solve this problem !! ............... If not solvable then also reply plzzz .......

look this is not the best approach but convert the number to the base 10 and multiply it.. thought you have a method of multiplying in different base which i cant recall.. multiply each number and add to get the final result.. in the final answer check for how many 8's are there because in base 8 you wil have 0-7 as the numbers so 6 is 7-1.. so in base 10 you wil have 0-9 so check for 9-1=8.
BTW is the OA right?

solution pls

a>b>0... b cant b a fraction..since d denominator will get multiplied with b,become reciprocal n give a big value,den added with a will give a will give a bigger value..
so put b=1, a=2

do tell if u dont get it

Find the least possible value of (a+b+c)(1/a + 1/b + 1/c)
