2nd case : 2000*6 (till 30th june) + 2350*6(1st july to 31st dec) = 26100

Let us assume two persons first one as X other as Y
for X 3000 pm. this amounts to 3000*12=36000 in a year. no increment since it will be after a year that is on 1jan 1992 but the date we are asked is up till 31 dec 1991
for Y 2000 pm. this means for first six months 12000. Now he has in increment of 350 so hi monthly becomes 2350. for next six months=14100.
now difference= 36000-(12000+14100)=9900
