3)Sangeeta and Swati bought two wristwatches from Jamshedpur Electronics at 11.40 A.M. IST.After purchasing they found that when 60 minutes elapses on a correct clock (IST), Sangeeta'swristwatch registers 62 minutes whereas Swati's wristwatch registers 56 minutes. Later in the daySangeeta's wristwatch reads 10 P.M., then the time on Swati's wristwatch is:a.8:40 PMb. 9:00 PMc. 9:20d. 9:40 PMe. Cannot be calculated.
b. 9.00 PM

Consider both clocks set at 11.40 AM IST. When Sangeeta's clock shows 10 PM, It means 620 min after 11.40 AM according to Sangeeta's clock. But 62 min of her clock equals 60 min in actual.
Hence 620 min in her watch = 600 min actual = 10 hr actual
Hence actual time is 9.40 PM
Swati's watch looses 4 min per actual hour
Hence her watch looses 40 min in 10 hrs
Hence at actual 9.40 PM her watch will show 9.00PM

Va/Vb = 180/300-8Vb

isme 3:1 daal dia ... Vb 30 aya => Va = 90

ab back track se kya matlab hai ??

x= 300/Vb -8 hai
and x = 180/Va

dono me X = 2 aya

ab aur kha tak back track krna hai ...

9:00 pm?

62 mins ----> 60 mins
620 mins -----> 620*60/62 = 600 mins (IST)---->9:40 pm

60 mins ----> 56 mins
600 mins ----> 56*600/60 = 560 mins----->9:40 - 40 mins = 9:00 pm

a,b,c are positive real numbers and a^2+b^2+C^2=48

12?
a = b = c
3a^2 = 48
a^2 = 16 ----> a = 4
a =b= c = 4
a + b + c = 12...
There are 12 intermediate stations between two places A and B. In how many ways can a train
be made to stop at 4 of these 12 intermediate stations provided no two of them are
consecutive?

A _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ B

Ffix 8 station bw A & B.

Now we can select 4 station out of the remaining 9 positions.

So 9c4 = 126

three digit numbers in base 7 = [7^3, 7^4) = [343, 2401)
4 digit numbers in base 6 = [6^4, 6^5) = [1296, 7984)
==> required numbers = 343, 344......1295 = 953.
