mr X calculated his profit on sp and it is 30 % .if he calculates as usal on cp what is profit %
(sp-cp)/sp = 0.3
cp = 0.7sp
hence, (sp-cp)/cp = (sp-0.7sp)/0.7sp = 3/7 or 42.8 %

How many zeroes will be there in the end of 25! when expanded in base 14?
highest power of 14 in 25!...which is 3..

thoda explain karna...
not able to correlate zeros with base
In how many ways can we put 5 balls in 3 boxes
1. boxes similar and balls similar?
2. boxes different and balls similar?
3. boxes similar balls different?
4. boxes different balls different?

bhai...number of zeroes in base 10 kaise nikaalte ho?? highest power of 5 se? (coz 10 = 5*2, and 5 serves as the limiting factor)...
waise base 14 mein 14 = 7*2 karke...7 ki nikaal lo (as that wld be the limiting factor)..

so in general, koi bi base x ho agar....usko primes bi break karke limiting wali ki highest power nikaal do...

hope samaj aya ho..

What is the product of all factors of the number N = 6^4 x 10^2, which are divisible by 5?1. 12^(210 × 3102 × 5140)2. 22^(210 × 3140 × 5105)3. 32^(140 × 3210 × 5102)4. 42^(140 × 3102 × 5210)5. 52^(102 × 3210 × 5140)
are the options correct?? how come the options have no 5's?? *confused*
A triangle ABC with AB=17.5cm and AC=9cm is drawn. A perpendicular is dropped from A on BC at D with AD=3cm. Triangle ABC is circumscribed by a circle. Find the radius of the circumcircle.

PS:- don't know the answer. please provide a less calculation intensive method.(i got an answer of 28.85cm)

3x+13y=85
Y=85-3x/13
X=11 satisfy

take x=11 with difference of +13 and -13

So X can take -41,-28,-15,-2,11,24,37,50

So total 8 values

Copying mistake..Really sorry...here is it....@Logrhythm

What is the product of all factors of the number N = 6^4 x 10^2, which are divisible by 5?

1. 2^210 × 3^102 × 5^140
2. 2^210 × 3^140 × 5^105
3. 2^140 × 3^210 × 5^102
4. 2^140 × 3^102 × 5^210
5. 2^102 × 3^210 × 5^140

Is it 8 solutions??
@saurav5517 i don't know the answer. but i used heron's formula to find the radius. i got 28.85cm . every possibility i made a calculation mistake . please provide the explanation.

N = 2^4*3^4*2^2*5^2 = 2^6*3^4*5^2
terms with one 5 -> 7*5*2 = 70
terms with two 5's -> 7*5 = 35
total power of 5 -> 70+35 = 105...
hence, option 2...
A shopkeeper marks up his goods by 40% and gives a discount of 10%. Apart from this, he uses a faulty balance also, which reads 1000gm for 800gm. What is the net profit percentage?
