CI= P(1+r/100)^n-P=220
SI=Prn/100=200
nC2 (r/100)^2+... (r/100)^n=20/P=rn/1000
(1+r/100)^n= rn/1000+ 1+nr/100
let r=10
(1.1)^n= 1+.1n+.01n= 1+.11n
for value of n=two, both are nearly equal.
P= 1000?

@hatemonger Ya I could decipher that...I took 1st round sum of ranks as 65 then 2nd round 33 and so on...Seems tedious!....what if upsets happen??

We need to subtract the number of multiples of 2 ie 200
So we are left with 400-200=200

Do not have the exact approach .... by looking at the question u can have some clues for solving
By looking at the question u can deduce it period is for two years so si for one year is rs 100 and ci for fisrt year is 100 and for second year is 120 so it is increased by 20% so rate of interest is 20%
now u can u find out the principal which is 500
