Q. The value of (1.001001001)^1/3 - (1.001001)^1/3 closest to ?

a. 0 b. (10)^ -6 c. 3*(10)^ -9 d. 3.3*(10)^ -10
The base 6 representation of 0.33333..... is
(1) 3/5 (2) 2/3 (3) 1/3 (4) 3/4 (5) none of these
@pirateiim478
never took into account the 2 ways from z to c .
1. When a number 'N' is divided by a proper divisor 'D' then it leaves a remainder of 14 and if the thrice of that number i.e. 3N is divided by the same divisor D, the remainder comes out to be 8. Again if the 4 times of the same number i.e. '4N' is divided by D the remainder will be:
(a) 35
(b) 22
(c) 5
(d) can't be determined

P is a natural number. 2P is having 28 divisors and 3P has 30 divisors. How many divisors of 6P will be there?Options :35,40,45,48,NOT
35 :)
2. A number when divided by 5 gives a number which is 8 more than the remainder obtained on dividing the same number by 34. Such a least possible number is:
(a) 175
(b) 75
(c) 680
(d) 580

Is it 3/5???
3. When a natural number is divided by a certain divisor, we get 15 as a remainder. But when the 10 times of the same number is divided by the same divisor we get 6 as a remainder. The maximum possible numbers of such divisors is:
(a) 6
(b) 7
(c)15
(d) can't be determined

Is it CBD??
I am getting 2 values for D,ie, 17 or 34

22 :P

N=nD +14
3N=mD + 8

adding them 4N=(m+n)D +22

so rem 22

Factors of 144, greater than 15
Ans: (b) 7
Eh??
4. A certain number 'C' when divided by N1 it leaves a remainder of 13 and when it is divided by N2 it leaves a remainder of 1, where N1 and N2 are the positive integers. Then the value of N1+N2 is, if N1/N2=5/4
(a) 36
(b) 27
(c)54
(d) can't be determined uniquely

75 hoga kya?
@Logrhythm Yup correct :)
@joyjitpal Yup 75 :)

can be done from the options i guess
@bluechameleon18 yes right ..it will be 7

means that 10*15 when divided by the divisor leaves remainder as 6/// also the divisor should be more than 15 and 6.... 150/divisor leaves remainder 6... factors of 144 which are greater than 15.... 144 = 2^4*3^2 .. total no. of factors is 15... factors less than 15 are.. 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,12... hence 7 divisors are possible...
