first 250 prisoners try 250 bottles at 1st hr and then wait till 20th hr another 250 prisoners try another 250 bottles at 2nd hr and then wait till 21st hr if first 250 survived they try again form 3rd to 22nd hr and so on.. alternately in same manner..

0--> a person doesnt drink it;1--> drinks it.take 10 prisoners(a to j) 1 st bottle --> 0000000000 (no one drinks it) 2nd bottle --> 0000000001 (a alone drinks it) . . . 1024 th bottle --> 1111111111 ( everyone drinks it) so depending on the combination of prisoners dying, we can decide the bottle . say, no one dies , it would mean that 1st bottle is poisonous .

what is the problem in that ? everything is occuring at the same time . any person here has to drink from 512 bottles, if you consider the time taken to drink from a bottle, then , there would be a problem . Anyway there is a margin of 4 hrs . so, no problem .
