@sauravd2001 I understood till 416. Actually those multiples of 2 and 3 which are subtracted are in fact multiples like 6. 12. 18. 24...so all multiples of 6 will be cancelled. 7 ke 100 multiples honge, isme se 50 coincide karenge toh 416 hue. Lekin isme se 3 ke saath conicide wale kuch multiples bhi nikal jayenge...so please clarify.
the shaded region is what u need

when it is compressed upto 60cm ......take it on +ve y-axis its position will be (0,60)....with origin as mean position ......from the assumption in d last lyn of d ques. it will travel lyk this
60(upto mean position)+60(below y axis)+60(back to mean position)=180........I
now onwards its distance will decrease as given in d ques=60x.75=45
then in the same way.....45(origin to extreme)+45 (down to mean)+45(down to extreme)+45(up to mean)........
in d similar fashion upto infinity
then,4x45+ 4X45x3/4 + 4x45 x(3/4)^2...........upto infinity
=4x45/1-3/4=720
from I.........180+720=900.............if I am wrong then plz correct me
From a group of 545 contenders, a party has to select a leader. Even after holding a series of meetings, the politicians and the general body failed to reach a consensus. It was then proposed that all 545 contenders be given a number from 1 to 545. Then they will be asked to stand on a podium in a circular arrangement, and counting would start from the contender numbered 1. The counting would be done in a clockwise fashion. The rule is that every alternate contender would be asked to step down as the counting continued, with the circle getting smaller and smaller, till only one person remains standing. Therefore the first person to be eliminated would be the contender numbered 2.

Which position should a contender choose if he has to be the leader?
A. 3
B. 67
C. 195
D. 323
E. 451

bhai any reason behind taking this term??

forming different pairsas (a+b+c+d)^8a^2*b^2*c^2*d^2 similarly every term below 8!/2!^4+8!/3!^2*2+8!/4!^2*2=4900 (Ans.)

The total expenses of a boarding house is partly fixed and partly varying linearly with the number of boarders.the average expense per boarder is rs 700 when there are 25 boarders and rs 600 when there are 50 boarders, what is the average expense per boarder when there are 100 boarders?a.550b.580c.540d.570please suggest.
x+ny=A*n
x=fixed expenses
y=variable expenses
n=number of boarders
A=average expense per boarder

n=25
A=700
x+25y=17500-----------1

n=30
A=600
x+50y=30000------------2

25y=12500
y=500

x=5000

x+100y
5000+50,000
55000
Average expenses=55000/100=550

2^9=512
545-512=33

2*33+1=67

Can anyone with logical way to do it?
@gnehagarg 1,3,5,...............545 pe khatam pahla round agle mein jo pahla bahar jayega woh hoga 1 kyunki circular arrangement hai bas yahi catch hai circular arrangement mein 1 pahle bahar jayega agle round mein
