Two distinct A and B are selected from set {1,2,3,4....39,40}. Find the probability that AB is divisible by 3.
(13*12+27*13) / 40P2

A*B is divisible by 3=> Either A/B or both are divisible by 3

=> (13C2 + 13C1*27C1)/40C2 = (13*6 + 13*27)/(20*39) = 33/60 = 11/20 ?

An integer N, 100
121/ 7 => 2 ?
ABCDE is an irregular polygon such that ∠A = ∠B = ∠C = ∠D = 120° and ∠E = 60° . If AB = 6 cm, BC = 5 cm and CD = 4 cm, find the perimeter of ABCDE.
1) 35 cm 2) 37 cm 3) 29 cm 4) 31 cm 5) Can't be determined

nopes bhai..N 125 hoga..so remainder is 6.OA..
@grkkrg said:
N = 125?100 400 144 91 N is divisible by 5144 100 100 121 Combining 121N = 125

yeps..
N should be 121 na :wow: In 125 last digit wont be 1

121 nhi ho skta..if unit place pe 0 he..it means its divisible by 5

bhai last nai first digit 1 hai...last digit in base 5 is 0 means no. 5 se divisible hoga..

If 121 is expressed in decimal form & u want to convert it into base 5 to last digit 1 hoga

An integer N, 100
in base of 5 right most digit is 0, this implies that the number is a multiple of 5.
left most digit is 1 in base 8 => N
left most digit is 1 in base 11 => N >= 1*11^2 + 0*11+0 = 121

based on the 3 conditions above we can say N = 125
=>remainder when 125 divided by 7 is 6

ATDH.

An integer N, 100 When N is expressed in base 8 notation and in base 11 notation, the leading (i.e., leftmost) digit is 1 in both cases. Then N when divided by 7 gives a remainder of ??

rightmost he to pucha hain to last hua na & not leading
