Try drawing figure...
Plot the distances of any one end point of common cord wrt centres of both circles.
U will get an right angled triangle is formed with two centres and one end of common cord.
Right angled triangle with sides 3,4,5.
So Centre of smaller circle lies on common cord.

Hence length of common cord= diameter of smaller circle= 6cm

Look at the figure..

From fig, 9 - x^2 = 25 - (4+x)^2
solve to get x = 0..
That means the chord passes through centre of smaller circle.. so its the diametre.. 2*3 = 6

don't have OA , actually got this 1 in litmus today . I was under the impression that it would be a cake walk, but attempted only 16/20 in qa and got trolled in lr :splat:
