solution:
If we consider the total loan as a mixture of two loans one at 8 % and other at 10 % and the overall rate on both the loans taken together as 9.5 % , we can easily apply alligation to get the ratio of the loan amount as 1 : 3...
therefore answer is 2500 rs..
why is the mixture rate taken as 9.5 % .. plz explain this in detail.. rest i have understood 😃
