find ratio of square inside equilateral triangle ??
shouldn't the answer be 5/8 ??
1) area of the small triangle / big triangle == 1 :: 4 .
2) so area of small triangle is x and area of ( trapezium + smaller triangle ) is 3x
3) so , required ratio = ar . of trap / ar of triangle
== (3x - 0.5x) / 4x == 5/8
but the answer is 5 / ( 6* (3^0.5) )
