Triangle ABC right angled at B. D and E are 2 points on BC and AB such that.. BD = 8, BE 6, AE = 10, CD = 10. Find area of EODB(O is point where AD and CE meet). . .pls solve

There was this question an hour back

The difference in CI earned on a certain sum for which interest is compunded anually , in the first and the second year is 160 .If the rate of interest becomes 4 times the original rate then the difference in the interests earned in the first and second year would be

I solved it like:

Amount = P (1+r/100)

CI = P (1 +r/100 ) - P = Pr/100 -> after first year

for second year

Amount = P (1+r/100)^2

CI = P(1+r/100)^2 - P

= P [ 1 +r^2 /10^4 + 2r/100 ] - P

= P [ r^2 /10^4 + 2r/100 ]

so:

P [r^2/10^4 + 2r/100 ] - P(r/100) =160

Pr^2 /10^4 + 2Pr/100 - Pr/100 =160

Pr^2/10^4 + Pr/100=160

P [ r^2 /10^4 + r/100 ]: whats wrong in my method ? please reply @happy3475 @anandmadhav @ankurkhanna14

have a doubt..ques like 1/x + 1/y = 1/n????
