A punching machine is used to punch a circular hole of diameter two units from a square sheet of aluminium of width 2 units, as shown below. The hole is punched such that the circular hole touches one corner P of the square sheet and the diameter of the hole originating at P is in line with a diagonal ofthe square. "
Find the area of the part of the circle (round punch) falling outside the square sheet.

Hi, given two sets A and B of m elements and n elements respectively
There are three cities: A, B and C. Each of these cities is connected with the other two cities by at least one direct road. If a traveller wants to go from one city (origin) to another city (destination), she can do so either by traversing a road connecting the two cities directly, or by traversing two roads, the first connecting the origin to the third city and the second connecting the third city to the destination. In all there are 33 routes from A to B (including those via C). Similarly, there are 23 routes from B to C (including those via A). How many roads are there from A to C directly?

The speed of railway engine is 42 km/hr when no compartment is attached,and the reduction in speed is directly proportional to the square root of the number of compartments attached. If the speed of the train carried by this engine is 24km/hr when 9 compartments are attached , the maximum number of compartments that can be carried by the engine is '?

100 million bacteria can completely decompose a garbage dump in 15 days and 60 million bacteria can do so in 30 days. If same quantity of garbage is added to the initial quantity of the dup everyday, how many bacteria will be required to completely decompose the dump in 10 days?
Please specify the approach too
A is twice as effiicient as B. If they complete a work in 30 days, Find the time required by each of them to complete the work independently.
My Approach
A=2B
30A+30B = 100% work
i.e. 90B = 100% work
B = 1.11%
work done by B inone day = 1.11% (B take 90 days to complete)
Hence A will take 45 Days
