In an increasing Arithmetic Progression, the product of the 5th term and the 6th term is 300. When the 9th term of this A.P. is divided by the 5th term, the quotient is 5 and the remainder is 4. What is the first term of the A.P.?

(a) 12 (b) -40 (c) 16 (d) 5

👍

The first term in a sequence is 1 and the second term is 5. From the third term on each term is the average (arithmetic mean) of all preceding terms. What is the 25th term in the sequence?

Q.When bmw introduced its most advanced engine it was found that the engine of the car followed certain mileage charateristics in a speed limit of

25kmph to 80 kmph.the car can travel a distance of 15 km in one litre of petrol while speeding at 50 kmph.for this point onwards for every increase of

5 kmph in the speed of the car the mileage is increased by 1km per litre.similarly for every decrease of 5kmph in the speed of this car the mileage is decreased by 1 km/litre.assume that the car operate in this speed limit only

Q1.Rahul has filled exactly 10 litres of petrol in his car.he drives at a speed of 45kmph for the first 2 hours.what is the maximum distance he can cover before his tank goes dry.

Pls explain CRT (chinese remainder th )

There are a certain number of tins that are filled with milk from a machine. If the machine fills at the rate of 5 tins/min, 3 tins are left empty; at the rate of 8 tins/min, 5 tins are left empty and and the rate of 7 tins/min, 4 tins are left empty. In this setup it is possible to have N different number of tins.

Find N given that (100

There is no leakage or wastage of milk and the machine can work only for integral number of minutes.

€‹

Explanation:

Using CRT

5A+3=8B+5

5A=8B+2, B=1 and A=2 .the AP is of the form 40K +13

40K+13=7C+4

7C=40K+9

7c=5K+2=>K=1 and C=7. The AP is of the form 53+280N

Three digit numbers possible in this AP are 53+280=333, 53+2(280)=613 and 53+3(280)=893.

if we multiply 9999*9999 then the ans will be 99980001 so here for 4 digit no with all 9's we got 3 9's in the ans. In other ex if we multiply 99999*99999 then again ans will be 9999800001 so by the same logic in the above the answer will be 419 9's will be there in the ans.
