Shreya has with her cube made up of 27 smaller cubes. She names each face of the larger cube with an alphabet from A-F. She then starts writing a number from 1-54 on each visible face of the smaller cube that the face A gets the lowest sum followed by face B and so on. Shreya writes the digits in such a way that no two consecutive intgers are written on a particular face.(NMAT prep)

1) What can be least total on the face D ?
180 162 252 168 none

2)What is the least total on face F ?
255 258 260 262 none

3) What is the difference between the total on face A and faceB when the total on face F is the least ?
1 2 3 4 5

4) what is the maximum total for the face C?
325 327 329 331 none
@Brooklyn yeah, checked u2/u1 should be 3^1/4 and so u10/u9 = 3^1/(2^10) :banghead:
@Brooklyn none of these 3^1/(2^9)

u1 = 3^(1/2)
u2 = 3^( 1/2 + 1/4)
u3 = 3^( 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8) ... and so on

u10 = 3^( 1/2 + .... 1/1024)
u9 = 3^( 1/2 + ..... 1/512)

u10/u9 = 3^(1/1024)

A bit high right now, may be wrong 😛 .. Option D

@techsurge we can do it assuming 11 th term square to be 2 and 5th term square term to be 1 .

PS question give us liberty to assume any value since variable p is involved.
but what abt d ????
how do u know it shall fit
