Approach Plz..!!!

Sorry for posting this Q in this thread..but i'm stuck.. somebody pls explain reason for answer "b" 1994 CAT ''kya-kya” is an island in the South pacific. The inhabitants of β€œkya-kya” always answer any question with two sentences. One of which is always true and the other always false.

There is only one pilot on the island. You interview three men- koik, Lony and Mirna. You also notice that Koik is wearing a cap.

A. Mirna says, β€œLony's father is the pilot. Lony is not the Priest's son.''

B. Koik says, β€œ I am the priest. On this island, only priests can wear caps.”

C. Lony says, β€œ I am the priest's son. Koik is not the priest.”

Which of the following is true ?

(a) Lony is not Koik's son

(b) Koik is the pilot

(c) Mirna is the pilot

(d) Lony is the priest

A= 12345678......upto 1852 first natural numbers written side by side. What is the remainder when 1750 digits of A are divided by 16..??

A person P is at X and another person Q is at Y.the distance between X & Y is 100 km. The speed of P is 20 km/hr and Q is 60 Km/hr. If they continue to move to and fro between X & Y then what is the distance covered by P when they meet second time ?

Directions: If x & y are real numbers and the functions are defined as f(x, y) = | x^2 + y^2 |, F(x, y) = – f(x, y) = – G(x, y), which of the following will be necessarily true?

F(x, y) > G(x, y)

G(x, y)* F(x, y)

G(x, y) = f(x, y)

F(x, y) > f(x, y)

G(x, y) > f(x, y)

please explain your approach as well thanks
