I have a doubt in AIMCAT 1409 question no. 5.Can anyone explain why angle C1XC2 is not 90 degree.And in what case will it be 90??. . .

Let the two circles meet at X and Y.Then why angle O1XO2 will not be 90 degree??

@ahsish9virgo pls explain. . .

@anandmadhav

at time t = 0 :-
all the lights are ON.
So, all the lights will be ON for first 2 secs.
At t=2 sec all the lights will go out.
At T = 2+18 , L1 will be ON . total = 20sec
At T = 2+22 , L2 will be ON. total = 24 sec
At T = 2+34 , L3 will be ON. total = 36 sec.
LCM = 180 sec.
so 180* 4 +2 =722 sec. uttar..

Two circles with centres P and Q cut each other at two distinct points A and B. The circles have the same radii andneither P nor Q falls within the intersection of the circles. What is the smallest range that includes all possiblevalues of the angle AQP in degrees?
(a) Between 0 and 45
(b) Between 0 and 90
(c) Between 0 and 30
(d) Between 0 and 60
(e) Between 0 and 75

this should help you. @Nikhil4069 😃

When shatabdi express started from the platform, a guy also started on a bike on the road parallel to the train. He started from the end of the train, with a speed greater than that of the train. As soon as he reached the end of the train, he turned back and started to run towards the end of the train and by the time he reached teh end, he found that the train had travelled a distance equal to its own length and he had travelled a total distance of 400( 1+ root(2)). FInd the length of the train. Assuming constant speeds!!

Two taps A and B can fill a tank in 20 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. The two taps are opened together. After how much time should tap B be closed so that the tank is full in exactly 14 minutes?

i got the ansr as 6.5.. but th ansr is 7.5.. cn someone help me??

A truck traveled from P to Q over a period of several days. During the first day, it travelled 1/x of the total distance. Second day, 1/y of the remaining. During third day, 1/x of the remaining and during the 4th day, 1/y of the remaining. By the end of four days, he had travelled 3/4th of the total distance. Distance from P to Q is 100mtrs. Find the maximum distance that can be covered on Day 1. x, y are natural nos.

A and B start swimming simultaneously from two points P and Q respectively, on a river towards each other. A crosses a floating cork at a point S and B crosses the floating cork at a point T which is at a distance of 8 km from point S. A and B cross each other at a distance of 2 km from T. It is given that the direction of flow of the river is from P to Q and in still water, the ratio of speeds of A and B is 3 : 1. P, S, T and Q ( in that order) are on the same straight line and assume that A, B and the floating cork move along that line.If PQ = 100 km, then find the distance between the floating cork and A when A reaches Q.a 11 kmb 12 kmc 13 kmd 14 km

A, B and C started a work together and after completing one fifth of the work C left, A and B worked for 30 more days. C then took over from A and B and completed the remaining work in 12 days. If C alone takes 40 days to complete the entire work, in how many days can B alone complete the entire work given that A's rate of doing work is twice that of B?

Directions: The question is followed by two statements, A and B. Answer each question using the following instructions:Radha and Rani appeared in an examination. What was the total number of questions?A. Radha and Rani together solved 20% of the paper.B. Radha alone solved 3/5th part of the paper solved by Rani.

1. If the question can be answered by using one of the statements alone but not by using the other statement alone.

2. If the question can be answered by using either of the statements alone.

3. If the question can be answered by using both statements together but not by either statement alone.

4. If the question cannot be answered on the basis of the two statements.

Solution to hexagon prb : sample fig attached

Calculate the no of ways to reach the nodes (A.B,C.....)
No of ways for A and C=1
B=1+1=2
E=2
D=1+2=3
F=1+2=3

Follow the same approach in the given prb
