A train of length 100 m is accelerating. It crosses a pole in 30 seconds. What could be the highest speed of the train while it was crossing the pole?
Can the answer be found?Speed of a train is decreasing linearly. At t=1s speed is 100 kmph, at t= 5s speed is 20 kmph. What s the speed at t=6s?

4 people A, B, C, D are playing rummy with 2 sets of cards. each person is having 13 cards in hand. A has 7 red cards(4 diamond cards and 3 hearts) and 6 black cards (all spade). B has 3 red cards(1 heart and 2 diamond) and 10 black cards(6 spade and 4 cleaver). C has 9 red cards (5 diamond and 4 hearts) and 4 black cards(all cleaver). D has 5 red cards(all hearts) and 8 black cards(4 spade and 4 cleaver). After 3 rounds, A has to pick the card from the closed stack. What is the probability that he will pick a joker?
Note: Each set has two jokers. There are 5 jokers in the hands of the players already.
A bike running at 80 km/h initially is slowed down to 60 km/h as soon as the fuel indicator touches the half level mark. It keeps running at this speed till it runs out of fuel, thereby covering a total distance of 640 km in 10 hours. If the bike consumes 2 liters of fuel per hour, what is the capacity (in liters) of the fuel tank of the bike?
60x + 80(10-x) =640
Hence x=8
bike runs for 10 hours thus capacity of tank = 2 * 10 = 20 right ?? What am i missing ??
smone plz solve this..

Sixteen persons €“ P1 to P16 €“ are to be seated at a square table, which has four chairs along each side. What is the probability that P7 and P13 sit on two adjacent chairs on the same side?
we can arrange all 16 in 4 * 15! ways hence denominator = 4*15!
Also
We can arrange the all members taking two of those together = 14!
those two should be on same side = =1/4
probability = 1/4 * 14! / (4*15!) .....
but OA = 1/10 :banghead: (edited)

A tank can be filled in by an inlet pipe of circular cross section in 10 min. Another tank twice as big is filled in by 3 inlet pipes whose diameters are in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3 . If the smallest pipe of these is four times as much in cross section as the pipe of the first tank, find the time taken to fill the second tank. [Speed of water in the second tank is half the speed of the water in the first tank.]
There is a water tank of capacity 1,000 L with two inlet pipes A and B that can pump in water at the rate of 50 L/hr and 25 L/hr respectively. An outlet pipe C attached to the tank can pump out water at the rate of 50.Initially the tank is full and the outlet pipe is opened. Now when the water in the tank is (3/4)th of the maximum volume of water that it can hold, both the inlet pipes are opened until the tank becomes full after which they are closed back. This process is repeated for an infinite number of times. Find the volume of water in the tank as a fraction of the capacity of the tank after 205 hrs.
