A task was given to a manager who had 14 members in his team. At any moment of time exactly 10 members worked simultaneously on the task. Since, the manager had to be fair in his work allocation, he allocated the task among the workers in such a way that each member worked on the task for exactly 't' minutes. If the task was completed in 210 minutes, then find the value of 't'. (Assume the efficiency of each of the members of the team is the same)?

My attempts in AIMCAT are not going beyond 15 in Section1. I am getting 12 of them right. How to improve number of attempts. I wonder how the topper is attempting all 30 or atleast 27. How to reach to that stage? I don't want to attempt all 30 but aiming for 23 or 24. Plz suggest me guys. I couldn't go beyond 15 even it is easy paper :-'(
A tank of capacity 1000 cubic centimeter is being filled with water by 3 pipes A, B and C. The areas of cross-section of the pipes A, B and C are in the ratio 3: 2: 4. Water is flowing through each of these pipes at a different rate (in cm/min). It was found that the time taken to fill the tank, which was initially empty, by the pipes A, B and C individually is 20 min, 50 min and 25 min respectively.
Find the ratio of the rates of flow of water through the pipes A and C?

Well, as everyone knows that questions in CAT involve more of logic and tricks rather than tedious and lengthy calculations. So I would request fellow puys to put up and discuss questions they had faced during their CAT exam so that everyone gets a feel of the questions..!! 🍻
