Guys i have 2 question and i don't know what mistake i am doing in it can you please rectify
1.Sunil and Kapil toss a coin alternatively till one get head and win.if sunil start the game the chance of winning for him is
My way : probability of sunil winning in his first attempt is 1/2,probability of sunil winning in his second attempt is 1/8(Sunil loss,Kapil Loss,Sunil win) and so on.so total probability is 0.66(adding as GP).
But answer is 0.33 how??????????

2.A student is to answer 10 out of 13 question in a test such that he must choose at least 4 out of first 5.so in how many ways he can choose the answer?
My Way : case 1 he choose 4 out of first 5 so no of ways = 5C4 * 8C6 = 140
Case 2 he choose all question from first 5 so no of ways = 5C5 * 8C5 = 56
so total no ways = 196
But answer is 140 How??????????

I am unable to understand particular type of minimum maximum questin where it is required to find out "atmost no"

for ex-Ques - If 70% of the students who joined xyz last year play football, 75% play cricket, 80% play basketball and 85% play carrom.What is the maximum percentage of students who play at most two of the four games?


In this ques what is the meaning of atmost two games.Do I need to calculate max(I - II) + max(II - III).

Calculating as such I am getting wrong answer. Please explain how to solve this "atmost" type ques.
