The tournament in a country XYZ is conducted at four levels , Level 1 , 2 , 3 and 4.which have 16,32,64 and 128 teams respectively. Each of these tournaments are on a knock-out basis, where in each round of the tournament, the teams still left play exactly 1 match and then move on to the next round, only if they win that match. The team which win all the matches of the tournament is the winner of that tournament. Four tournaments each at different levels are conducted in XYZ last year. Question 1: A team had a total of 15 wins and 3 loses in all the tournaments last year. What is the maximum number of titles it could have won ? P.S. This is a TIME section test question Kindly share how u solve also as i am doubtful at one point.

let a,b,c,d be +ve integers. Then the product (a-b)(a-c)(a-d)(b-c)(b-d)(c-d) is definitely divisible by
i). 2; ii). 3; iii). 8; iv). 12

1. i, ii, iv only
2. i, iii only
3. i only
4. ii only
5. i, ii, iii, iv only

Let a and b be natural numbers and such that a*b+1 be divisible by 24. Then a+b is divisible by

i. 2; ii. 3; iii. 8; iv. 12

1. i, ii, iv only2. i, iii only

3. i only

4. ii only

5. i, ii, iii, iv only
(please approach also)

Please note that this method has some assumptions associated with it and may not be perfect. Nevertheless, here it goes.
First, as you can see in the attachement, we need to find the area of the circle inside ABCD.
So, first I found out ABCD and then assumed the area of circle based on the figure.
In a 10x10 square, if a quadrant is drawn then,
(90/360)*pi*10*10= 1/4*3*10*10=75.
If you draw four quadrants from each of the corners like I have done in the figure, you have two four equal area sets and the middle part which I have represented as ABCD. Then, find out the areas of the four equal area sets and subtract those from 100. You will be left with ~34.5.
Therefore, options A & D ruled out. By looking at the diagram, you can say it is 27.

@amresh_maverick Bhai, please post the question again for the benefit of others.

@amresh_maverick Sirjee figure shayad is type ka hoga

The integers 1, 2, …, 40 are written on a blackboard. The following operation is then repeated 39

times: In each repetition, any two numbers, say a and b, currently on the blackboard are erased and

a new number a + b – 1 is written. What will be the number left on the board at the end?

(1) 820 (2) 821 (3) 781 (4) 819 (5) 780

In the following figure, ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral with Γ as the circumcircle. CD is extended to F such that angle(BFC) = 30 degrees. BF intersects Γ at point E. If angle(BAC) = 50°, then find Angle(DAE).

In a game 2187 people are standing in a line and they are required to count off in threes as "one", "two", "three" "one", "two", "three" and so on from the person standing at the beginning of the line. The person who says "three" is taken out of the line and the remaining repeat this process until two people left in the line. Find original position of the last person to leave.

three containers a,b,c are having mixtures of milk and water in the ratio of 1:5,3:5 and 5:7 respectively. If the capacities of the containers are in the ratio of 5:4:5,find the ratio of milk to water,if the mixtures of all the three containers are mixed together.

Plz provide an explanation.
