A man owns a rectangular plot of land with corners labeled ABCD, with AB=5 meters and BC=12 meters. He walks in a very peculiar fashion. He starts at A and walks toC. Then, he walks to the midpoint of side AD (labeled A1). Then, he walks to the midpoint of side CD (labeled C1), and then the midpoint of A1D (labeled A2). He continues in this fashion indefinitely. The total length of his path is of the form a+bc√, where a,b and c are positive integers, and c is not divisible by the square of any prime. What is the value of a+b+c?

If anyone is able to solve pls put soln. on thread!!

ABCD is a square with side length 10 and P is a point in the interior of ABCD such that PA=6 and PB=8. If the length of PC is written as ab√, where (a) and b are positive integers, and b is not a multiple of the square of any prime, what is the value of a+b?

A manufacturer produces two types of products: A and B, which are subjected to 2 types of operation, viz. grinding and polishing. Each unit of product A takes 2 hrs of grinding and 3hrs of polishnig while for B product it takes 3hrs for grinding and 2hrs for polishing. The manufacturer have 10 grinders and 15 polishers . Each grinder operates for 12hrs/day n each polisher 10hrs/day. The profit margin per unit of A and B are Rs.5 and Rs.7 respectively. If manufacturer utilizes all his resources for producing these two types of items, what is the maximum profit possible?

Can someone suggest test-taking strategy for CAT second section? This is my present strategy: I start LR questions first, it takes 35-40 min. Some times I don't get answers to 1 LR set. Then I would do some of the VA questions in 30 min. Then I wouldn't have time to attempt RC. Some times I get stuck in LR set then the situation is even worse
