How many integral values of x and y are such that 4x+7y=3 while |x|

@chillfactor @scrabbler --

Can u pls explain with examples the difference between these lines (I often get confused) :-

1) [x] represents the greatest integer less than or equal to 'x'.

2) [x] represents the smallest integer more than or equal to 'x'.

take example [3/4] = 0.75 and 5/4 = [1.25]

a0, a1, a2, a3, ..., an are (n + 1) vertices of a regular polygon. Functions f(x) and g(x) are defined such that. f(n) = Total number of diagonals in a regular polygon of (n + 1) sides and g(n) = Total number of triangles that can be made using the vertices of the (n + 1) sided regular polygon, as its vertices (None of the sides of the triangle should be common with that of polygon.) If f(n) = 5, then what is the value of g(n)?

Two Astronauts, Vaibhav and Kanishk land on a spherical shaped meteor of diameter 7 km, which is rotating about its own central axis at 2.5 km/sec. Equator is the maximum circumference possible on the spherical shaped meteor. Vaibhav starts running along the equator at 20% of the speed of the meteor in a direction opposite to the direction of the rotation of meteor. Kanishk standing at the point from Vaibhav started, records the time taken by Vaibhav to reach the starting point once again. Calculate the time recorded by Kanishk.

If a, b and c form a G. P. with common ratio 'r', the sum of the y-coordinates of the points of intersection of the line ax + by + c = 0 and the curve x + 2y^2 = 0 is
-r/4 , -r/2, r/2 , r ( did silly mistake :banghead: )

First 100 natural numbers in the decimal system are converted to base 6 and their product is found. Find the number of consecutive zeros at the end of the product as counted in the base 6 system.

Nx is a family of numbers for different natural numbered values of x. They share a common property of having 24 factors in each of the numbers. All the elements of N are arranged in ascending order as follows: N1
