it is r^3*-2
so -5^3*2=-250

x,y and z are complex numbers satisfying

⎧⎩⎨x^1+y^1+z^1=1
x^2+y^2+z^2=2
x^3+y^3+z^3=3

The value of x^4+y^4+z^4 can be expressed as a/b, where aand b are positive coprime integers. What is the value of a+b?

How many lattice points lie on the sphere x^2+y^2+z^2=2013?

Let f(x)=x^2−1. How many distinct real roots are there to f(f(f(x)))=0?

A lattice point has integer coordinates

Shreya who is 6 yrs old has just learnt addition. She doesn't knw how to carry. For eg. She can add 14 & 5, bt doesn't know how to add 14 & 7. How many pairs of consecutive integers b/w 1000 & 2000 (both included) can she add?

Please explain in detail.

The micromanometer in a certain factory can measure the pressure inside the gas chamber from 1 units to 999999 units. Lately this instrument has not been working properly. The problem with the instrument is that it always skips the digit 5 and moves directly from 4 to 6. What is the actual pressure inside the gas chamber if themicromanometer displays 003016?A. 2201B. 2202C. 2600D. 2960E. None of the above options ?

Answer the questions on the basis of the information given below. From a point D outside a circle, two tangents DA and DB are drawn as shown in the figure given below. It is also given that AC = CB, where point C lies on the given circle, AB = 2 cm and the measure of angle ACB is 30° .

1>

The distance (in cm) between the incenter of the triangle ABD and point C is

2>

If the measure of angle ADB is 'k' times the measure of angle ACB, then what is the value of 'k'?

A line segment OX is tangent to a circle at the point X as shown in the figure given below. AB is a chord of the circle and is parallel to OX. The line segments OA and OB intersect the circle at the points D and E respectively. The line segment DE when extended intersects OX at the point M. If EM = 9 cm and DM = 16 cm, then the length of OM is

Someone plz help solve this Time & Work caselet. Its been bugging me since morning 😟

Bankatlal works x hrs a day & rests for y hrs a day. This pattern continues for 1 week, with an exactly opposite pattern next week & so on for 4 weeks. Every 5th week, he has a different pattern. When he works longer than he rests, his wage/hr is twice than what he earns per hour when he rests longer than he works. The following are his daily working hours for the weeks numbered from 1 to 13.

1st week (Rest-2, Work-5)
5th week (Rest-3, Work-7)
9th week (Rest-4, Work-6)
13th week (Rest= __ , Work-8)

A week consists of 6 days & a month consists of 4 weeks.

1) If Bankatlal is paid Rs. 20/working hr in the 1st week, what is his salary for the 1st month??
[1760, 1440, 1320, 1680, 1230]

2) Referring to the data given above, Bankatlal's average monthly salary at the end of 4 months will be?? [ 1780, 2040, 1830, 1680, 1870]

3) The new manager stipulated that Rs 5 be deducted for every hour that he rests & Rs 25 be paid for every hour he works, starting from the 9th week. Then what will the change in his salary for the 3rd month? (Hourly deductions are constant for all weeks starting 9th week)
[540, 480, 240, 120, 210]

4) Using the data in the previous questions, what will be the total earning of Bankatlal at the end of 16 weeks?
[7200, 7800, 8400, 9600, 6900]

One last question, forgot to mention it above :P

A tank X can be filled by an inlet pipe of circular cross-section in 10min. Another tank, twice as big is filled in by 3 inlet pipes whose diameters are in the ratio 1:2:3. If the smallest pipe among these is four times as much in cross-section as the inlet pipe of tank X, find the time taken to fill the 2nd tank. [Speed of water flowing into the 2nd tank is half the speed of water flowing into the first tank]

[5/14 min, 5/7 min, 5/6 min, 1 min, 6/5 min]
