pehle sabko 1 de diya....... 3x+y+z=35....ab x=1.... y+z=33.......... 33x=2......... y+z=30...... 30and so on...sum from 3 to 33.......
aur agar aisa kuch hota
3x+2y+z+a=120?...

i hope aise aate ni honge...:D

OA :
1> 234
2> 600

koi madad karo in question 2

1> 3x +y +z=40 where x ,y,z are +ve integers , no of sol ?

3x + y + z = 40
x = 1.....y + z = 37.....so 36 solutions
x = 2....y + z = 34...so 33 solutions

so 36 + 33 + 30 + 27 + 24 + 21 + 18 + 15 + 12 + 9 + 6 + 3 = 234 ?

second time to bhai x=0 se shuru kar skte ho
x ko 1 to de chuke ho pehle

recalculated..its 66..
15 O - 1
10M 5A - 1
14O 1M ,13O 2M ,..............., 5O 10M = 10
14O 1A,13O 1A,...................,10O 5A = 5

we can visualize and count for rest as the possibilities will keep on increasing for o =13,12..9 and then decrease after some values as O =4,3,2,1

what can be a shorter approach frnds???

arey correct ..........thanks..
no distinct rectangles having integral sides such that perimeter is an integer less than 100 cm

I stuck here Plz help

Let us take perimeter to be 98
L + B = 49
1 48
2 47
and so on total sol =24

No take perimeter = 96
L + B = 48
1 47
2 46
........
.......
24 24
and so on total sol =24

@scrabbler help plz , how to proceed

why are u not taking L=48 and B=1
i mean that should be a whole different rectangle than L=1 and B=48

also u cannot take L and B to be 24
since that would be a square.

1> How many 3's will be there in a book having 700 pages ?
2> 5 couples in a party .how many ways 4 persons can be seated on a table of 4 chairs such that no two husband wife are on the table ?

1) 20*6+120=240

actually according to me it should be 1176-24=1152
24 squares will b there in between
but he says its 600..:D

all squares are rectangles

L=1 , B=48 and B=1 , L=48 but we have to find no of distinct rectangles

2(l+b) l+b
so ,l+b+k = 50 where k is any natural num

so no. of ways = 49C2 = 1176

No. of distinct rec = 1176 - 24 = 1152 ?? not sure...
