16.66%??

SP of 20kg=400

SP of 1 kg=20

customer gets 960gm for rs16
or 1kg for 16/960 * 1000

Discount = 50/3 = 16.66%???

Q22
Although it's a silly question, But I'm getting confused on this one :embarrassed:

Let say CP = 100. MP = 150

Profit = 3x%, Discount = 2x%
=> Profit = 3x*100/100 =3x
discount = 2x*150/100=3x

=> 100+3x = 150-3x
=> 6x =50
=> 2x = 50/3 =16.66%

What's the OA?

8??

100paise=12

original price 125 paise=12

gain of 20% so 150paise=12

so for 100 paise he will sell 12/150 * 100=8

needs to sell 8 for 1Re

Quantum cat is gud for a beginner...otherwise arun shrma

Sorry for not dalling it earlier :(

1 rupee pe 20% loss matlab
CP = 10/8

Now, to get 20% gain, he should sell it at SP = 10/8 * 1.2 = 1.5 rupees

So 12 Apples for 1.5 Rs
=> 8 Apples for 1 Rupee

approach?

Old MP = 400, New MP = 500

CP = 300...

let old SP be x and new SP = 7x/6

so 7x/6 - 300 = 2 * (x - 300)

x = 360

sp new SP = 420
@vbhvgupta said:
Q19
360 hai kya???
MP= 400
CP = 400*3/4 = 300
SP
Case 1 :
P = SP - 300
Case 2
SP = 7SP/6
(SP - 300)*2 = (7SP/6 - 300)
SP = 360
