Find the remainder (30^72)^87 is divided by 11.
4 ?

(30^72)^87 = 30^6264 mod 11
E(11) = 10
so...30^4 mod 11 = 8^4 mod 11 = 64*64 mod 11 = 9*9 mod 11 = 81 mod 11 = 4.....
Find the remainder (30^72)^87 is divided by 11.

OA: 5 . Plz can anybody explain it.

OA-0Mr. X leaves his house daily at a particular time to go to his office. He reaches office 10 minutes late when he travels at 20 kmph and 5 minutes early when he travels at 30kmph. At what speed should he travel to reach office on time.
bhai answer kya hai iska?

Find the remainder (30^72)^87 is divided by 11.
(30^72)^87 = 30^6264
Now 30^anything div by 11 follows the pattern of remainders as in
(8,9,6,4,10,3,2,5,7,1) , (8,9,...............................)....ie it repeats in interval of 10
Now 30^6264= 30^6260. 30^4
R= 1. 4
= 4

If it is 30^72^87 then it will be 5. But in the case of (30^72)^87 it will be 4 I think.

oh noted the difference

i rechecked....if it is (30^72) ^ 87, R =4
if it is 30^72^87, R = 5
@Exodia kindly check ur question :)

it should be -> 30^72^87%11
72^87%10 = (2^10)^8*2^7 = 76*2^7 = 8..
=> (-3)^8%11 = 9^4%11 = (-2)^4%11 = 16%11 = 5...

It is 30^72^87. Missed the difference between 30^72^87 and (30^72)^87.

Have made that error, more than once Happens!

In an isosceles right angled triangle ABC, it is given that AB = BC. DE and GF are drawn parallel to BC and AB respectively such that DE as well as GF divide the triangle ABC into two equal parts. BO when extended meets AC at the point H. Find the ratio BO : OH.

Another problem on remainders:
Find the remainder when 10^10 + 10^100 + ......... 10^10000000000 is divided by 7:
1) 0
2) 1
3) 2
4) 5

5? I think each term is giving 4 separately. So 10 terms give 40 and 40/7= 5

Its 4 for the question stated. The actual question was 30^72^87. In that case answer is 5
