In order to get 45 in both the terms of a pair , 21600 should contain two 45's and here 21600 contain only one 45 .

Can anyone pls explain the concept of eq. of time taken by 2 persons running on circular track in same direction and starting from same point to meet for the first time ever = L(length of track)/difference between speed of both(relative speed). My doubt is why are we taking only L in the numerator though total distance covered by both is more than that (i.e. 1 complete round+ (2*distance travelled by slower person))?

One off topic question.
