can anyone help me solve this question

A train covers a certain distance at a speed of 60 kmph. however if it were to halt for a fixed interval of time in each hour its av. speed reduces to 50 kmph . what is the time interval for which the train halts?

A square is divided into 108 identical rectangles. The ratio of length to breadth of the rectangle is 3:4. If the diagonal of the rectangle measures 1 cm, then the length of the diagonal of the square is closest to? Options 9,10,11,12  

Someone help me with this one. 

Find no.of integer points lying inside a region bounded by curve x^2+y^2=81?Approach guys.

Please tell the difference between the two questions. Also tell the answers and the approach.

1. In how many ways can 3 different rings be worn in 5 fingers of a hand (each finger can hold any number of rings) ?

2. In how many ways can 3 different balls be distributed into 5 different boxes ( each box can hold any number of balls) ?

ABC is an equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle of radius "r".What is the area of largest square that can be inscribed inside it?

The sides of a triangle are 7 cm, 18 cm and x cm long, where 'x' is an integer. How many such obtuse angled triangles are possible?

My answer is coming as 13 but actual answer is 10

My sol: 

Case 1: x is longest side, then x>18-7 i.e. x>11

Case 2: x is not longest, then 18>x-7

Solving both will get 13 values

What am I missing

In a triangle PQR, points X,Y,Z are on PQ, PR and QR such that PX=XQ.  RY/YP = a/b. QZ/ZR=3. also, (area PXY)^2 = (area QXZ) * (area RYZ). The ratio a:b is ?

If, X= -16 or X= -8

    Y= -16 or Y= -5

then what should be the relationship between X and Y?

B) X less than Y

C) X>/=Y

D) X less than or equal to Y
