Can someone please help me understand this concept-(divisibility rule)
If a number is divisible by 2 and 3, then it is also divisible by 2 *3=6. However for numbers(4,6 and 24) 4*6=24, this rule does not holds true. like for eg-- 12 and 36(divisible by 4 and 6 but not by 24).Why is this rule applicable for 2 and 3 but not 4 and 6?
