Which factor will occupy the 122nd position if all the factors of 6^2 * 55^2* 7^2 are written in ascending order?

S1 = {2, 4, 6, 8, .................... 800}

S2 = {3, 6, 9, 12, .................. 900}
If S3 = S1 U S2, then what will be the 105th element of S3 if all its elements are arranged in increasing order?

here U  means union

In how many ways can 12 prizes be distributed among 3 kids ?

the answer is 3^12.

The problem is, I can't fathom the idea that, 1st prize can be distributed among 3 Kids in three ways. Never understood that.

I proceeded with the logic that : 12 prizes and 3 kids.

First kid can be given one out of 12 different prizes.

Second Kid can be given one out of 11 remaining prizes.

Third Kid can be given one out of 10 remaining prizes.

Please help me understand my folly. After all I am a useless brain.

Please some one ......... I couldn't sleep over this ............... 😞
