A polynomial f(x) with a real coefficient satisfies the functional equation f(x).f(1/x) =f(x)+f(1/x). If f(2)=9 ,then f(4)

1) 82    2) 17   3)65    4) None of these

Explain the solution too! 😃

Let f(x) be a function such that f(x+1) + f(x-1) = f(x) for every real x. Then for what value of p is the relation f(x+p) = f(x) necessarily true for every real x?

a)  3    b)4      c)5       d) 6

There are 8375 raisin chocolates, 5025 almond chocolates and 20100 cashewnut chocolates available. The chocolates have to be arranged in boxes such that the combination of chocolates in each box is the same i.e., each box contains the same number of chocolates of each kind and no chocolates of any kind are left over. Find the number of boxes required if minimum number of chocolates are put in each box.    @chinki93  @matrix4ever  @sagarcat   Please help with this question.. P.S I have not given the options because I am looking for the method..

a dog is tied outside a hexagonal room to a rope whose other end is tied to the center of the one of the side of that room. initially , the two ends of the rope and the center of the hexagonal room are collinear. now the dog starts moving in clockwise direction such that rope is fully stretched. after one round such that the position of the dog is collinear with the center of the room and its initial position , only 30 cm of unwanted rope is left. find the approximate distance covered by the rope if the side of hexagonal room is 30cm . @Going_High @Huey @scrabbler @matrix4ever help please
